林賽：大家好，我是“流行糖”的節(jié)目主持人林賽·米勒，今天要采訪的是斯蓋拉·格蕾。你正在準(zhǔn)備新專輯，對吧？

斯蓋拉：對。

林賽：那關(guān)于這張新專輯你有什么要說的嗎？我知道阿姆是這張專輯的執(zhí)行制作人，這真的非常棒。

斯蓋拉：是的。我花了三年左右準(zhǔn)備這張專輯，

時間挺長的。里面的所有音樂都很讓我興奮。

林賽：是啊。你寫了這么多首大熱的歌曲，但這次有點(diǎn)像是一次轉(zhuǎn)型，轉(zhuǎn)向?qū)Ｗ⒂谕耆珵樽约鹤鲆魳罚銓τ谶@次轉(zhuǎn)變有什么感受？

斯蓋拉：我為阿姆和蕾哈娜寫了《愛你說謊的方式》，在格萊美頒獎禮上表演，還做了其他類似的事情，我覺得這些事情為我打開了很多扇大門，讓我有機(jī)會和這些音樂界的牛人合作。是的，在過去幾年里我一直在和很多人合作，和許多出色的人共事，現(xiàn)在很開心可以出自己的個人專輯，因?yàn)檫@讓我有機(jī)會對自己的聲音做各種嘗試，還有，你知道，和不同的人合作，這使我確實(shí)想明白了，花時間來想明白了自己想要做什么，這是我覺得最激動的事情。

Skylar： Hes been amazing， super

generous， and I think one of， hes one of the greatest talents to ever live， so 8）having him in my corner and having his advice is such a...I feel so lucky， you know.

Lindsay： Is there one piece of advice that hes given you that has really stuck with you， or has maybe changed the way that you approach your music？

林賽：對，我覺得這張專輯很帶勁的另一個原因是你的歌融合了很多不同流派的音樂。你知道，你和這么多嘻哈樂、流行樂的牛人合作過，那你是如何把他們對你的影響融合起來的呢？

斯蓋拉：沒錯，我很難在同一種音樂上停留太長時間——我會厭煩——因?yàn)槲以谝粋€多元化的音樂背景下長大，而且我和卡斯卡德合作過，接下來會和很不一樣的Dre博士

合作，但是……我很喜歡這樣。每次和不同的人合作或者接觸不一樣的風(fēng)格，我都會學(xué)到一些新的東西。所以在專輯里我從所有這些不同的東西里面挑選了我最喜歡的部分并把它們?nèi)诤系揭黄稹?/p>

林賽：你和阿姆到現(xiàn)在也認(rèn)識幾年了，你覺得他作為一位音樂導(dǎo)師來說是個怎樣的人？

斯蓋拉：他一直很

出色，非?？犊?，我覺得他是史上最杰出的天才之一，所以能夠得到他的支持和建議是一件……我覺得非常幸運(yùn)，你知道。

林賽：他給你的建議中有沒有哪一條讓你印象很深，甚至也許改變了你處理音樂的方式？

so simple， but， like， it really stuck with me， and so everything I do now， Im just like， “Is that really me or is that what somebody wanted me to be？”

Lindsay： Now tell me a little bit about your musical background， because I read that you grew up in a pretty small town. So when did you discover that you had this passion for music？

Skylar： I kind of always knew. When I was singing， like， happy birthday， when I was two， I would 9）harmonize and my parents would 10）freak out. I remember when I was three I wrote a song about green 11）popsicles. I used to plug in my little microphone into a tape， a cassette recorder and pretend I had a radio show called“Shooting Star.”

Lindsay： Shooting Star！

Skylar： Yeah.

Lindsay： ...I like that. Its like...

Skylar： We used to have...

Lindsay： Have you considered that title for the album？ Skylar： No. And my sister and I actually had this…this radio show， and we would have guests， so we would do voices for different guests， just the two of us， and wed make up songs on the spot.

Lindsay： So from a very early age you knew that you wanted to do something musical， it sounds like.

Skylar： It was always just what I did， its part of my everyday life.

Lindsay： Yeah.

Skylar： Theres not one day in my life that I didnt do something musical.

Lindsay： Skylar， thank you so much for dropping by today.

斯蓋拉：可以說，我一直都知道。當(dāng)我兩歲時唱著生日歌的時候，我在一邊和唱，這讓我爸媽很抓狂。我還記得三歲的時候?qū)戇^一首關(guān)于綠色冰棒的歌。我以前常常把我的小麥克風(fēng)插到盒式錄音機(jī)里，假裝自己在錄一場叫做“流星”的廣播節(jié)目。

林賽：流星！

斯蓋拉：對。

林賽：……我喜歡這名字，聽起來像是……斯蓋拉：我們以前經(jīng)?！?/p>

林賽：你有沒有想過給這張專輯起這名字？斯蓋拉：沒有。我和姐姐還真的玩了一次錄廣播節(jié)目的游戲，我們的節(jié)目有嘉賓，我們裝出不同嘉賓的聲音，就我們兩個，我們倆還現(xiàn)場編歌。

林賽：所以聽起來你年紀(jì)很小就知道自己想做跟音樂相關(guān)的事情了。

斯蓋拉：這正是我一直在做的事情，是我日常生活的一部分。

林賽：沒錯。

斯蓋拉：我沒有一天不在做著跟音樂相關(guān)的事情。
