詞形變換是中考英語中一個常見題型，它所涉及的形式主要包括：名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)及所有格，代詞的主格和賓格以及相應(yīng)的物主代詞形式，數(shù)詞的適當(dāng)形式（基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞），動詞的正確形式（單數(shù)第三人稱、過去式、過去分詞、現(xiàn)在分詞），非謂語動詞（尤其是不定式和動名詞），形容詞和副詞的比較等級，等等。

詞形變換題一般有三種出題形式：第一種是根據(jù)所給出的要求變換詞形；第二種是根據(jù)句意用括號內(nèi)所給詞的適當(dāng)形式填空（這是全國各地采用最多的命題形式）；第三種是在括號內(nèi)給出漢語，要求考生根據(jù)句子意思及所給漢語提示，寫出空缺處單詞的正確形式。第一種題型，即根據(jù)括號內(nèi)的要求變換詞形，比較簡單，要做好它主要靠平時多積累。第二、三種題型則較為復(fù)雜，它不僅涉及詞語的正確形式，而且還涉及句意和語法等多個方面。

做好該類題應(yīng)注意以下三點：一是要通讀全句，弄清句意；二是要弄清所給單詞的詞義、詞性以及具體要求；三是要考慮到所填詞在特定語境中的用法以及相關(guān)句子結(jié)構(gòu)對它的限制。
