Wang Menghu was born in 1942 in Shanhai Pass， Hebei Province. Currently he is a member of China Artists Association， a director of Chinese Painting Institute， a researcher of Research Institute of Culture and History， the consultant of Artists， etc. He has held many solo exhibitions at home and abroad. He also published several albums.

王夢湖，1942年生于山海關(guān)，河北豐潤人，師從于白雪石先生。中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員、中國友聯(lián)畫院畫家、中國畫學(xué)會(huì)理事、中國山水畫研究院常務(wù)副院長、中央文史館書畫院研究員、中華慈善總會(huì)“中華慈善美術(shù)家”、《美術(shù)家》雜志顧問。2006年被評(píng)為“21世紀(jì)最具影響力的畫家”，2007年入選“中國畫20家”。多次在中國美術(shù)館、當(dāng)代美術(shù)館、歷史博物館及國外舉辦畫展。出版有《王夢湖畫集》、《王夢湖百幅作品集》、《中國山水畫寫生創(chuàng)作畫法》、《國畫名家小品技法》、《中國山水畫名家技法講座？王夢湖寫意山水畫藝術(shù)》、《名家名畫？王夢湖寫意山水畫作品》、《美術(shù)家——王夢湖專輯》、《中國當(dāng)代名家畫集？王夢湖》等專著。endprint
