不同國家與地區(qū)的文化背景和風俗習慣不同，問候的方式也不同。在我們國家，見面后我們會互相問好，并習慣地問“要去哪里？吃飯了嗎？”而在西方一些講英語的國家，你如果問別人“要去哪里？”會被認為是打探別人的隱私，讓別人很反感；你如果問別人“吃飯了嗎？”會被誤認為是你要請客。為了避免這些尷尬，讓我們一起來看看以下幾個國家的人們是怎樣互相問候的。

●Great Britain英國

British verbal greetings may be accom panied1by a handshake.A small and quick kiss may be given between females2,or perhaps be?tween a female and a male3,but not between two males.

英國的口頭問候中可能伴有握手。在女性或者男女性之間還會有一個小而快速的吻禮，但男性之間不會這樣。

1.accompany vt.陪伴，陪同；附加，補充；為……伴奏；vi.伴奏。如：

Would you accompany me to the shop this afternoon?你愿意下午和我一起去購物嗎？

2.female ad j.女性的；n.女人。3.male ad j.男性的；n.男人。

●America美國

Although sometimes just a smile accompanies the greeting,a firm1handshake is a common greeting between males,and happens(less com?monly)between a male and a female,but a short handshake.W omen tend2to shake hands with each other only if they meet for the first time.Female friends often greet each other with a hug.Greetings in Can?ada are alike the ones in America.

雖然有時只是一個伴隨著微笑的問候，男性之間更常見的問候方式是一個有力的握手，而男性和女性之間也會以握手進行問侯，但時間會更短一些。女性往往只在第一次見面的時候會互相握手，她們之間經(jīng)常以互相擁抱來問候。在加拿大，問候的方式和美國的很相似。

●France法國

One common French greeting is a light handshake.Another common greeting is a kiss on the left cheek1followed by a kiss on the right cheek.Depending on the situation or the peop le greeting,the kiss may be just a touch of cheeks.

在法國，常見的一種問候方式是輕輕地握手。另一種常見的問候方式是親吻左臉頰，然后親吻右臉頰。根據(jù)情況或人們的問候方式，親吻有時也可能只是輕觸一下臉頰。

●Mexico墨西哥

Handshakes are common,but a softer,longer handshake.Hand?shakes may be accompanied by a hug and a few hearty pats on the back between men if they know each other well.A kiss is also a com?mon form of greeting,and is usually just a touch of cheeks w ith a kiss?ing sound rather than a real kiss.Unlike the French double-kiss,the kiss greeting in Mexico is just done on one cheek.

握手是很常見的問侯方式，但時間要略長一些，也更溫柔一些。男性之間如果彼此很熟悉可能會擁抱并相互拍背。親吻也是一種常見的問候方式，通常只是接觸一下臉頰，與其說是真正的親吻，還不如說是用親吻的聲音進行問侯。不像法國大多數(shù)時候兩個面頰都親吻，在墨西哥的親吻問候只吻一邊的臉頰。

In Japan and South Korea,people usually bow when they meet.It shows respect for others.In Russia,Brazil and other countries,good friends often hug each other when they meet.In India and Thailand,peo?p le put hands in the chest and gently bow for greeting.In short,there are a lot of different greeting cultures all over the world.

在日本、韓國，人們見面時通常要鞠躬，表示對別人的尊敬。在俄羅斯、巴西等國，好朋友見面時經(jīng)常擁抱對方。在印度、泰國，人們打招呼的方式則是把手放在胸前，輕輕地鞠一個躬?？傊澜缬泻芏嗖煌膯柡蛭幕?。
