Tao Ping was born in Jingdezhen， Jiangxi Province in 1972 and graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. Now he is a member of China Arts and Crafts Association， senior technician of Jiangxi Province， inheritor of intangible cultural heritage project （painting in high temperature colored glaze）， guest professor both of Jiangxi Vocational& Technical College of Ceramics and Heilongjiang University， ceramic expert of Qiqihar Crafts and Arts Association， etc. He is very skilled in the creation of high temperature colored glaze， creating various excellent artworks with combination of modern techniques. He has participated in various exhibitions and won grand prizes.

陶平，1972年生于景德鎮(zhèn) ，畢業(yè)于景德鎮(zhèn)陶瓷學(xué)院。江西省工藝美術(shù)家，江西省高級(jí)技師，江西省工藝美術(shù)師，非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)項(xiàng)目代表性傳承人（高溫色釉彩繪），中國(guó)工藝美術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員，中國(guó)工藝美術(shù)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)員，中國(guó)陶瓷工業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員，景德鎮(zhèn)市陶瓷協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員。江西省陶瓷工藝美術(shù)職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)系客座教授，黑龍江大學(xué)藝術(shù)學(xué)院美術(shù)系客座教授，齊齊哈爾工藝美術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)藝術(shù)陶瓷類專家評(píng)委。擅長(zhǎng)高溫色釉彩繪，融入現(xiàn)代技法，創(chuàng)作出一系列令人耳目一新的作品。2014年作品《高士圖》參加由中國(guó)陶瓷工業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)舉辦的第四屆北流陶瓷博覽會(huì)名優(yōu)作品評(píng)比獲得金獎(jiǎng)，作品《民俗風(fēng)情》榮獲2012年大連紫砂陶瓷工藝品博覽會(huì)星海杯評(píng)比金獎(jiǎng)，2013年參加由中國(guó)工藝美術(shù)學(xué)會(huì)舉辦的第11屆全國(guó)工藝品博覽會(huì)獲優(yōu)秀工藝美術(shù)作品評(píng)比金獎(jiǎng)。
