一、教學目標.
1. 語言知識目標:
(1)能掌握以下單詞:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist.
能掌握以下句型:
① ─What do you want to be when you grow up?
─I want to be a basketball player.
② ─How are you going to do that?
─Im going to practice basketball every day.
(2) 能了解以下語法:
掌握一般將來時態(tài)的構成形式。
(3) 用一般將來時態(tài)表達將要做的事情。
2. 能力目標:
(1)培養(yǎng)學生準確運用be going to表達將要做的事情的能力。
(2)通過聽力,對話以及小組活動提高學生的聽說能力。
3. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:
每個人都有自己的夢想和對未來的打算,對于將來想要從事的職業(yè)也充滿了憧憬。 人們經(jīng)常談論他們的設想,因此,可以通過學習本課的內容來激發(fā)學生們的學習主動性和學習興趣,使他們更加有理想,并為實現(xiàn)自己的理想而不斷努力。同時通過課堂活動培養(yǎng)學生學習英語的強烈興趣,樂于參加各種活動的積極情感,善于合作,培養(yǎng)學生團結協(xié)作精神。
二、教學重難點.
1. 教學重點:
(1) 學習一般將來時態(tài)的構成方式 。
(2) 學習本課時出現(xiàn)的重點句型,通過在不同 情景下學生模擬對話練習來熟練運用一般將來時態(tài)。
2. 教學難點:
用一般將來時態(tài)表達自己未來的打算。
三、教學方法.
1.“Teach English in English”。
2.突出重點,突破難點。
3.任務型教學法。
4. 游戲教學法。
5.競賽教學法。
四、教學理念.
1.自主、探究、合作的知識建構觀。
2.從學生生活出發(fā),教學活動回歸學生生活中的常見的職業(yè)。
3.學生通過情境問題、課程資源進行多角度、多樣式互動的多元互動教學觀。
五、教學過程.
1. Lead-in
教師播放小短文Im a policeman. Im a policeman dressed in blue, here are some things I like to do. Direct the traffic in your town , help to keep you safe and sound. Its my job and I like it fine. No one has a better job than mine .Im a policeman dressed in blue ,I want to be your friend to you .You can see me every day, I will wave my hand and say:…。調動起學生的學習熱情,然后教師通過播放ppt里的小動漫展示Marry等四人想從事的職業(yè)。讓學生來猜,以此來活躍課堂氣氛,也培養(yǎng)學生的學習能力和觀察能力。
2. Presentation
Part One: learn new words
(1). 讓學生用英語介紹自己小時候想要從事的職業(yè),由此歸納出以前所學過的一些職業(yè)的英語表達方式: teacher, nurse, doctor, basketball player, runner, actor, actress …
(2). Riddles讓學生通過猜謎語的趣味小活動學習新單詞。
What do they do?
①People come to see me when they are sick. I can help to make them feel better.
②I like singing and playing the guitar. I act in different movies.
③I work in hotels, I can cook delicious food for people.
④I am good at designing. I can build high buildings and long bridges.
⑤I am good at computers science. And I can design many new programs.
⑥I enjoy taking a plane and travel all over the world. I must keep a good eyesight and take flying lessons.
(3).猜完謎語后,讓學生找課本上我們還沒有涉及的單詞,意在培養(yǎng)學生的動手能力和觀察能力,同時也讓學生完成課本上的單詞記憶工作。
(4). Do you think these jobs are interesting? Rank them [1-12](1 is most interesting, 12 is least interesting.

此處設計意圖:培養(yǎng)學生的職業(yè)興趣和發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的職業(yè)理想,同時也落實本課情感態(tài)度價值觀目標。
Part Two: practice listening
Listen and fill in the blanks. Then match the items.
(1). T: Tell Ss to read the words of jobs in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the words and sentences.
(2). Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks.
(3).Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss.
(4). Play the recording again. Ss listen and match the jobs with activities.
(5). Show the answers on the big screen.
Part Three: pairwork
(1). Let Ss read the model with a partner.
(2). Use the information in the chart of 1b. Ask and answer with a partner.
(3). Let some pairs ask and answer about the chart.
Part Four : grammar , Words and expressions
1. be going to + v. 表示即將發(fā)生的事或最近打算進行的動作。表示說話者的意圖、推測和打算。
(1). 我打算下個月去北京參觀。 Im going to visit Beijing next year.
(2). 她打算將來搬到上海。 Shes going to move to Shanghai.
(3). 瑪麗要賣她的汽車。 Mary is going to sell her car.
(4). 今天早上我不吃早餐。Im not going to have breakfast this morning.
(5). 你打算邀請約翰參加你的聚會嗎? Are you going to invite John to your party?
(6). 你打算買什么? What are you going to buy?
2. want to be+職業(yè) 表示“想成為一名……”
e.g.我長大了要當名醫(yī)生。
I want to be a doctor when I grow up.
3.when做連詞時,如果主句的謂語動詞是一般將來時,從句要用一般現(xiàn)在時。
Ill visit you when I come back.
4. grow up 長大;成熟;成長
e.g.當她長大后,她想當一名老師。
She wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
5. violinist n. 小提琴手
violin (小提琴) + ist (職業(yè)) →violinist
e.g.她的夢想是當一名小提琴家。
Her dream is to be a violinist.
6. driver n. 司機;駕駛員
drive (駕駛) + (e)r →driver 駕駛員
e.g. 我叔叔是北京的一名公交車司機。
My uncle works as a bus driver in Beijing.
7 .cook n. 廚師; v. 烹飪;煮
e.g. 我經(jīng)常幫媽媽做晚飯。
I often help my mom cook dinner.
