      一、教材分析

      本課選自高二年級(jí)選修7,是本單元的第二課時(shí)。課文中的音樂(lè)知識(shí)很專業(yè),基于高二學(xué)生已經(jīng)掌握了一定的音樂(lè)知識(shí)的現(xiàn)實(shí),因此授課時(shí)候詳略得當(dāng),以更好地突出教學(xué)要點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)。

      二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

      1.掌握詞組dance to, aspect, breakthrough, side by side, experiment with;

      2.能讀懂介紹hip hop 的材料;

      3.會(huì)發(fā)表音樂(lè)與學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣的見解;

      4.注意英語(yǔ)交流中與他人的情感,學(xué)會(huì)與人合作完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。

      三、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)與難點(diǎn)

      1.了解 hip hop 的主要內(nèi)容;

      2.運(yùn)用音樂(lè)詞匯表達(dá)自己的見解。

      四、教學(xué)過(guò)程

      Teaching procedures:

      Step1 Pre-reading

      Lead-in

      Present some information about hip hop by a student.

      (目的是激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣,看看自己所查找的資料與課文的聯(lián)系,從而引入新課。)

      Task 1: Word Study

      Get Ss to say something about this American cultural movement by watching some photos of breakdancing, graffiti arts, DJ-ing, meanwhile, talk about some useful words.

      (采取在圖片和句子中學(xué)習(xí)詞匯的方法,不但能增加趣味性,而且讓學(xué)生印象更深刻。)

      The main idea:

      Part1 what is hip hop and how did it start?

      Part2 what was the big breakthrough?

      Part3 why was hip hop so successful?

      Part4 how did rap singers record their songs?

      Task2: Skimming

      Step 2 While-reading

      Read the passage and find out how many parts are the passage divided into and what is it about. Then work in pairs and fill in the table.

      Type of music

      (通過(guò)設(shè)計(jì)表格,讓學(xué)生在有限的時(shí)間內(nèi)查找第一部分的答案。)

      Task3: Pair work

      Read the Part 2 and answer the questions

      (快速閱讀第二部分,然后回答問(wèn)題,目的是使學(xué)生熟悉文章內(nèi)容。)

      Step3 Post-reading

      Task4: Scanning

      Read Parts3 and 4 of the passage again.

      Then match column A with B .

      Task 5: Work Pairs

      Read the passage and check the true statements.

      Step 4 Discussion

      Ask Ss to talk about the music and study habits.

      ·Listen to music helps you study.

      ·Make you fall asleep or concentrate.

      ·Prefer to study in a quiet or noisy environment.

      ·The best music for studying.

      (設(shè)計(jì)討論的話題為“音樂(lè)與學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣”。讓學(xué)生在合作與探究過(guò)程中提高語(yǔ)言的綜合運(yùn)用能力,發(fā)展探究、合作等方面的意識(shí)與能力。)

      Step5:Homework

      1.work in groups and find out more information about Hip hop including rap music and other African American Music.

      2.Choose one of their favorite rap music and bring it to class to share it with the whole class.

      Step 6:Summary

      In this reading, we have learnt something about hip hop. It can make the Ss realize that hip hop is different from traditional type of music and can also ask Ss express their own idea between music and study habits.

      (這節(jié)課本著面向全體學(xué)生的原則進(jìn)行了設(shè)計(jì),整節(jié)課貫穿input-intake-output 的思路,通過(guò)略讀、精讀等環(huán)節(jié)的訓(xùn)練活動(dòng)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力,提高閱讀技巧。)
