There was once a lonely girl who longed so much for love. One day while she was walking in the forests， she found two thirsty songbirds. She took them home and put them in a small cage. She cared them with love and the birds grew strong. Every morning they greeted her with a wonderful song. The girl felt great love for the birds.

從前，有個(gè)孤獨(dú)的女孩非?？释玫綈?。一天，她在叢林中漫步，發(fā)現(xiàn)兩只快要餓死的鳥兒。她把它們帶回家，放進(jìn)一個(gè)小鳥籠里。在她細(xì)心照顧下，鳥兒逐漸強(qiáng)壯起來。每天早晨，鳥兒都用美妙的歌聲向她道早安。女孩不禁對(duì)這兩只小鳥產(chǎn)生了深深的愛意。

One day the girl left the door with the cage open. The larger and stronger of the two birds flew from the cage. The girl was so frightened ， fearing that he would fly away. As he flew close， she caught him wildly. Her heart felt glad at her success in capturing him. Suddenly she felt the bird go weak. She opened her hand and stared in horror at the dead bird. Her extreme love had killed him.

一天，女孩把鳥籠的門打開了。那只又大又壯的鳥兒飛了出去。女孩很擔(dān)心它會(huì)飛走，再也不回來了。于是當(dāng)鳥兒飛近時(shí)，她拼命抓住它。她非常高興，鳥兒終于又抓了回來。突然，她感覺鳥兒有些軟弱無力。松開手，她驚恐地發(fā)現(xiàn)鳥兒死在她的手中。是她極端的愛害死了鳥兒。

She noticed the other bird moving back and forth in the cage. She could feel his great need for freedom. He needed to fly into the clear， blue sky. She lifted him from the cage and tossed him softly into the air. The bird circled once， twice， three times before he flew away.

她發(fā)現(xiàn)另一只鳥兒在籠里扇動(dòng)著翅膀撲來撲去。她感受得到它也十分向往自由，渴望飛向湛藍(lán)的天空。她把它從籠中拿起，輕輕地拋向空中。鳥兒盤旋了好幾圈，才肯離去。

The girl watched happily at the birds enjoyment. Her heart no longer cared her loss. She wanted the bird to be happy. Suddenly the bird flew back and landed softly on her shoulder. It sang the sweetest song that she had ever heard.

看到鳥兒歡快的樣子，女孩高興極了。她的內(nèi)心不再關(guān)心自己的得失。她希望鳥兒幸福。突然，鳥兒飛回來了，輕輕落在她的肩頭，鳴唱起她從沒聽過的動(dòng)人曲調(diào)。
