StarCraft II： Wings of Liberty is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game developed and released by Blizzard Entertainment for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The game was released worldwide on July 27， 2010. It is divided into three parts： the base game pack Wings of Liberty， an expansion pack Heart of the Swarm， as well as an upcoming expansion pack Legacy of the Void.

星際爭(zhēng)霸2：《自由之翼》是一款軍事科幻即時(shí)戰(zhàn)略游戲，由暴雪娛樂(lè)為微軟Windows和Mac OS X平臺(tái)開(kāi)發(fā)和發(fā)行。游戲于2010年7月27日全球發(fā)行。它被分為三部分：標(biāo)準(zhǔn)游戲包《自由之翼》，一個(gè)擴(kuò)展包《蟲(chóng)群之心》，以及一個(gè)即將面市的擴(kuò)展包《虛空之遺》。

The game develops around three species： the Terrans， human escaping from Earth； the Zerg， a super-species of evolved life forms； and the Protoss， a species with vast mental powers. Wings of Liberty focuses on the Terrans， while the expansions Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void will focus on the Zerg and Protoss. The game is set four years after the events of 1998s StarCraft： Brood War.

游戲圍繞著三種種族開(kāi)展：人族，從地球逃離的人類；蟲(chóng)族，一種超級(jí)物種進(jìn)化而來(lái)的生命形態(tài)；神族，一種擁有巨大精神力量的物種。《自由之翼》聚焦在人族，而擴(kuò)展包《蟲(chóng)群之心》和《虛空之遺》將分別聚焦在蟲(chóng)族和神族。游戲劇情設(shè)定在1998年的《星際爭(zhēng)霸：母巢之戰(zhàn)事件》的四年后。

The game received very positive reviews from critics and got score of 93% from Metacritic. Similar to the original StarCraft， StarCraft II was praised for its attractive gameplay， as well as its introduction of new features. The game was criticized for not having the features that are included in the original StarCraft game including LAN play and the ability to change between multiplayer regions. At the time of its release， StarCraft II became the fastest selling real-time strategy game of all time， with over three million copies sold worldwide in the first month.
