美國作家塞繆爾·厄爾曼（Samuel Ullman）在《青春》里寫道：“青春不是年華，而是心境；青春不是桃面、丹唇、柔膝，而是深沉的意志、恢宏的想象、炙熱的情感；青春是生命的深泉在涌流。”青春如一抹紅色，是不滅的熱情和斗志。青春也如“Youth”這首歌中所唱，是敢于打破規(guī)則，逆風(fēng)飛翔。

這首歌的演唱者Troye Sivan成名時正值青春年少。他12歲時在YouTube上翻唱了英國歌手Declan Galbraith的一首“Tell Me Why”，開始為人所知，此后影視歌多棲發(fā)展。這首“Youth”收錄在Troye Sivan于2015年發(fā)行的專輯“Blue Neighbourhood”中，他說這首歌的主題是青春，是拋開束縛，去奔跑，去犯錯，去愛。
