Aniara, a collection of epic science fi ction poems by Harry Martinson, is a major milestone in the history of Swedish literature for its profound insights, grand scheme, and brilliant imagination. Lectures on Guoxue is a compilation of the author's lectures for the teaching of Guoxue classes. The author, Prof. Wei Chengsi, is an eminent disciple of Buddhist Master Nan Huaijin (1918-2012). The author delves into some of the ancient Chinese books and classics, including the Four Books, the Five Classics, the works of philosophers other than Confucianists, and the Twenty-Four Histories, all in simple easyto-understand language. This book indeed makes for excellent reading for the beginners of Guoxue.
