卡梅倫離開唐寧街之后

英國媒體已經(jīng)開始回顧“首相那些年”。對卡梅倫來說，接下來是該好好考慮在卸任首相后的漫長歲月里做什么了。這是他擔(dān)任英國首相的最后一天，據(jù)說滿載新首相特雷莎·梅（Theresa May）物品的搬家車輛已經(jīng)等在了唐寧街10號的門外。即便是在公投失利后宣布辭職時，卡梅倫都以為自己會繼續(xù)留任到9月。但隨著特雷莎·梅成為保守黨內(nèi)唯一候選人，卡梅倫告別的日子突然一下提前了好幾個月?？穫愂且粋€被“脫歐”公投定義了的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人。6月23日，英國脫歐公投結(jié)果公布，52%的英國人支持脫歐。面對這樣的結(jié)果，一直竭力呼吁英國留在歐盟的卡梅倫選擇即刻辭職，他說，英國人已經(jīng)做出了一個非常清楚、與他所推崇的計劃不同的決定，因此他已不再適合“擔(dān)任船長”。

Oversaw some of the most horrific cuts to the great social institutions of our country since they were founded， and then promised a referendum he knew would have dangerous consequences for the sole reason that he didnt want to lose the next general election， so attempted to sway UKIP voters with that promise. Then when he lost， decided to bugger off rather than actually work to mitigate any of the damage he did. Id be happy about his resignation if I didnt know that what comes next is possibly even worse.（真是個無能可以的“二傳手”。他知道公投存在危險后果，他不想在下一次大選中失利，因此企圖通過公投組動搖英國獨立黨，公投出來后，他決定辭職，而不是實際去減少他造成的損失。我對于他的離職表示高興，否則接下來要發(fā)生的事情可能會更糟。）

Sonia Ball （網(wǎng)友）：Im not sorry to see him go. This country is not just divided by politics but also by class. The cuts made are water off a ducks back to the rich but to the working class and vulnerable the decisions have been crippling. The statistics might show that unemployment is at an all time low but they fail to say that most people are part time or on zero hour contracts.（見到他走我不難過，這個國家不僅僅因為政治分裂，而且因為階級差異分裂。對于富人來說這個決定沒什么影響，但是對于工人階層和脆弱人群來說，這個決定極其有害。數(shù)據(jù)顯示失業(yè)率達(dá)到最低點，但是沒有說的是大部分人是做兼職或零時工合同。）

I thought he was passionate about the UK， he made tough calls but I was better off under his leadership and the U.K. Is economically healthier than it was when he arrived. I wish him well. And if you dont like him fair enough but hes still a person. Does it have to be so offensive.（我覺得他很棒，他對英國充滿熱情，做出的是艱難的抉擇，我更喜歡接受他的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，在他上任后國家經(jīng)濟(jì)也更加健康了，我希望他以后過得好，你不喜歡他也沒關(guān)系，他是個好人。）
