1. 不忘初心，牢記使命，高舉中國特色社會主義偉大旗幟，決勝全面建成小康社會，奪取新時代中國特色社會主義偉大勝利，為實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的中國夢不懈奮斗。Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, hold high the banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, secure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, strive for the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and work tirelessly to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

2. 經(jīng)過長期努力，中國特色社會主義進入了新時代，這是我國發(fā)展新的歷史方位。With decades of hard work, socialism with Chinese characteristics has crossed the threshold into a new era. This is a new historic juncture in China’s development.

3. 中國特色社會主義進入新時代，我國社會主要矛盾已經(jīng)轉(zhuǎn)化為人民日益增長的美好生活需要和不平衡不充分的發(fā)展之間的矛盾。As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, the principal contradiction facing Chinese society has evolved. What we now face is the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life.

4. 綜合分析國際國內(nèi)形勢和我國發(fā)展條件，從二〇二〇年到本世紀中葉可以分兩個階段來安排。Based on a comprehensive analysis of the international and domestic environments and the conditions for China’s development, we have drawn up a two-stage development plan for the period from 2020 to the middle of this century.

5. 不忘初心，方得始終。Never forget why you started, and you can accomplishyour mission.

6. 中國共產(chǎn)黨人的初心和使命，就是為中國人民謀幸福，為中華民族謀復(fù)興。The original aspiration and the mission of Chinese Communists is to seek happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation.

7. 世界上沒有完全相同的政治制度模式，政治制度不能脫離特定社會政治條件和歷史文化傳統(tǒng)來抽象評判，不能定于一尊，不能生搬硬套外國政治制度模式。No two political systems are entirely the same, and a political system cannot be judged in abstraction without regard for its social and political context, its history, and its cultural traditions. No one political system should be regarded as the only choice; and we should not just mechanically copy the political systems of other countries.

8. 人民有信仰，國家有力量，民族有希望。When a people have ideals, their country will have strength, and their nation will have a bright future.

9. 青年興則國家興，青年強則國家強。青年一代有理想、有本領(lǐng)、有擔當，國家就有前途，民族就有希望。A nation will prosper only when its young people thrive; a country will be full of hope and have a great tomorrow only when its younger generations have ideals, ability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

10. 我們絕不允許任何人、任何組織、任何政黨、在任何時候、以任何形式、把任何一塊中國領(lǐng)土從中國分裂出去！We will never allow anyone, any organization, or any political party, at any time or in any form, to separate any part of Chinese territory from China.

11. 堅持和發(fā)展中國特色社會主義，總?cè)蝿?wù)是實現(xiàn)社會主義現(xiàn)代化和中華民族偉大復(fù)興，在全面建成小康社會的基礎(chǔ)上，分兩步走在本世紀中葉建成富強民主文明和諧美麗的社會主義現(xiàn)代化強國。The overarching goal of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics is to realize socialist modernization and national rejuvenation, and, that on the basis of finishing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, a two-step approach should be taken to build China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious,and beautiful by the middle of the century.

12. 新時代中國特色社會主義思想，是對馬克思列寧主義、毛澤東思想、鄧小平理論、“三個代表”重要思想、科學發(fā)展觀的繼承和發(fā)展，是馬克思主義中國化最新成果，是黨和人民實踐經(jīng)驗和集體智慧的結(jié)晶，是中國特色社會主義理論體系的重要組成部分，是全黨全國人民為實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興而奮斗的行動指南，必須長期堅持并不斷發(fā)展。The Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era builds on and further enriches Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory,the Theory of Three Represents, and the Scientific Outlook on Development. It represents the latest achievement in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and encapsulates the practical experience and collective wisdom of our Party and the people. It is an important component of the system of theories of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and a guide to action for all our members and all the Chinese people as we strive to achieve national rejuvenation. This Thought must be adhered to and steadily developed on a long-term basis.

13. 從全面建成小康社會到基本實現(xiàn)現(xiàn)代化，再到全面建成社會主義現(xiàn)代化強國，是新時代中國特色社會主義發(fā)展的戰(zhàn)略安排。This is our strategic vision for developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era:Finish building a prosperous society in all respects, proceed to basically realize modernization, and then move on to turn China into a great modern socialist country in every dimension.

14. 我國經(jīng)濟已由高速增長階段轉(zhuǎn)向高質(zhì)量發(fā)展階段，正處在轉(zhuǎn)變發(fā)展方式、優(yōu)化經(jīng)濟結(jié)構(gòu)、轉(zhuǎn)換增長動力的攻關(guān)期，建設(shè)現(xiàn)代化經(jīng)濟體系是跨越關(guān)口的迫切要求和我國發(fā)展的戰(zhàn)略目標。China’s economy has been transitioning from a phase of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development. This is a pivotal stage for transforming our growth model,improving our economic structure, and fostering new drivers of growth. It is imperative that we develop a modernized economy. This is both an urgent requirement for getting us smoothly through this critical transition and strategic goal for China’s development.
