Born in Ningbo City， Zhejiang Province in 1941， Wang Chengtian now is a member both of Zhejiang Artists Association and Zhejiang Chinese Painters Association. He has ever taken in charge of many positions including the member of Zhejiang Fine Arts Education Research Society. He has participated in various exhibitions at home and abroad， and many of his artworks have been collected by famous organizations worldwide. Besides， he also published many collections and teaching materials.

王承天，又名豐年。1941年生，寧波市鎮(zhèn)海人，高級講師。浙江省美術(shù)家協(xié)會會員、浙江省中國畫家協(xié)會會員。曾任省美術(shù)教育研究會會員、省勞技教育研究會理事。擅長中國畫，尤精工筆花鳥畫。作品多次在海內(nèi)外展出、發(fā)表及被收藏。參加編寫、修訂浙江省初中美術(shù)教材和小學(xué)勞技教材。出版有《中國畫畫法》《平淡之中見絢爛》（畫集）、《中國美術(shù)家——王承天畫集》《工筆扇面蟲草畫法》（技法書）、《畫蟹技法全解》（技法書）、《實用白描畫稿·寫生花卉》《國畫條屏構(gòu)圖技法·沒骨花鳥》（技法書）等。
