      The use of emotional factors in English study

      Summary: Emotional factors is one of important parts in language learning. And it plays decisive function. When you want to be a successful person, emotional factors are more important than intelligent ones. Training emotional factors should become a component in school education. Then to achieve much knowledge by emotional factors.

      Emotional education is a kind of new educational concept. It connects emotional factors with teaching methods. What are emotional factors? It is said in English curriculum standards, emotional factors, interest, motivation, self-confidence, will, spirit of cooperation and other factors that affect the students' learning process, as well as the awareness of the motherland and international perspective in the learning process. Harmonious atmosphere is the result of emotional factors between teachers and students. Teachers should apply vivid teaching methods、colorful facial expression、changeable body language、incentive evaluation and encouragement which can motivating students and play their learning potential. Thus get mind communication among them.

      The basic task of teaching English is to communicate with others and apply in our daily life. However, many students misunderstand it. They don't know how important to speak. Teachers ought to try their best to change this kind of phenomenon. Let them change learning concept and thoughts. If we want them to study English well, we must let them recognize this sort of language from emotions. And form the first impression to it.

      Our students are often over-passive in learning, while our teachers are very initiative. They don't make clear who are protagonists and who are supporting roles. It is very dangerous, must be changed. It needs teachers to stimulate their emotions and build up better learning atmosphere. Teachers also respect their emotions and encourage them to speak out, enjoy their advantage. When they make mistakes, don't only blame, first give a certain answer and then guide them to get right answer. Let them stay in class with confident、active and easy feelings. Turn passive attitude into initiative one, to be a master in study. As an English teacher, you should appear in front of your students with smiling and kind and gentle image. In English teaching, students' learning interests is very important. Teachers need to stimulate and keep the interests. Encourage them to read、 act、write and remember. Language is an art, different methods can produce different effects, teachers'language expressions is also important to students'understanding. As a famous man said: nothing can take place of teachers'language, it affects students hearts, interests and emotions. So teachers ought to put emotions into every teaching links.

      In delightful atmosphere teaching can mobilize enthusiasm and interests, students become studious or willing emotions, then they will realize successful joy. Free and easy studying environment, let them throw away worries and fear, they will remain higher enthusiasm and develop their potential. Emotional teaching in English can achieve by pictures、matters、activities and so on. This kind of way is an effective teaching thoughts. It can really arouse studying creativity、optimism and initiative. Finally it will improve students' intellectual and non-intellectual factors.
