1.2 草圖/Sketches

阿比布洛學(xué)校為城市帶來了一座從周圍環(huán)境中汲取靈感的新學(xué)校。在這里一部分教學(xué)可以在戶外進行，而無論天氣如何。阿比布洛的城市特色在于它的教堂、市政廳、運動設(shè)施和居住區(qū)，而這些建筑都以坡屋頂為主。因此，坡屋頂就成了這座學(xué)校建筑表達的基礎(chǔ)。之所以關(guān)注坡屋頂是因為它造型獨特、屋檐傾斜，給這個地區(qū)帶來了鮮明的形象，而毫不突兀。這種現(xiàn)代坡屋頂?shù)奈蓍転榻虒W(xué)和娛樂創(chuàng)造了富有吸引力的戶外空間。

關(guān)于草圖

在整個設(shè)計過程中我們一直都在畫草圖——便簽貼、復(fù)寫紙、餐巾紙，或者手邊的任何東西。畫圖是表達思想的有效方式。當(dāng)我們提交方案時，我會手畫一些說明性草圖來解釋其中的思想。到了這個階段，設(shè)計已全部完成，我的草圖則更多地是一種輔助理解項目的手段。很多設(shè)計評委都不是受過訓(xùn)練的建筑師，而且很多人都讀不懂專業(yè)的平面圖和剖面圖。在這種情況下草圖就很有幫助，因為它們是在用更普通的語言講故事。這些示意草圖不會影響早期的設(shè)計，而會幫助我們在開始做建筑細(xì)部時堅持最初的概念和思路?！酰ㄉ袝x 譯）

With Aabybro School, the city is getting a new school inspired by its surrounding environment and where parts of the teaching can be performed outdoor regardless of the weather. The city of Aabybro is identifed by its church, town hall, sport facilities and residential area which mainly are made with pitched roof. Therefore, the pitched roof is the cornerstone of the school's architectural expression. The pitched roof is brought to focus due to its distinctive shape and slanted eaves which give a unique appearance without being intrusive or alien to the area. It is a modern version of the pitched roof where the eaves ensure attractive outdoor spaces for education and play.

Sketch Description

We sketch all the time and all through the design process – on post-its, manifold, napkins and whatever is at hand. Drawing is a very efcient way to communicate a thought or an idea. Then, when we hand in the project I would do a number of explicatory hand drawn diagram sketches simply to explain the idea. At this point the design is all done and my sketches should be seen more as a guide to understanding the project. Most people in a design jury are not trained architects and many have a hard time reading formal plans and sections. Here, the sketches are very helpful as they tell the story in a more universal language. As such these presentation sketches do not afect the early design but they help us stick to the concept and initial ideas when we begin detailing the building. □(Text by Mikkel Frost)
