Born in Zhuji City， Zhejiang Province in 1934， Bian Peiyuan joined the army when he was 17 years old and graduated in 1954. Now he is a member both of China Calligraphers Association and Zhejiang Calligraphers Association， member of Calligraphy Creation Committee， China Talent Research， and member of Gallery Art Committee in China History Museum etc. He has participated in various exhibitions and won grand prizes.
培元，藝名邊原，字集之，號(hào)天庵，1934年生于浙江諸暨。17歲從軍，后調(diào)入南京海軍學(xué)校，1954年畢業(yè)，在海航五師任政工、宣教等職?，F(xiàn)為中國(guó)書法家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員、浙江省書法家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員、中國(guó)人才研究會(huì)書法創(chuàng)作委員、中國(guó)歷史博物館畫廊藝術(shù)委員。在學(xué)習(xí)藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作的道路中臨池不輟、博覽眾長(zhǎng)，曾參加中華全國(guó)總工會(huì)成立70周年書畫大賽獲金獎(jiǎng)，2002年獲由文化部社會(huì)文化司主辦的中國(guó)國(guó)際科技文化成果博覽會(huì)書畫大賽成年組金獎(jiǎng)。endprint
