越來越多的中外藝術交流活動都在從“人民”和“民間”的角度出發(fā)，展現(xiàn)不同國家、不同民族人們的文化藝術的多樣性：向希臘民眾展現(xiàn)當代美術創(chuàng)作風采、在突尼斯展現(xiàn)中國“瓷”的魅力，或者以“一圖勝千言”的方式讓德國人民一覽“當代中國”；而同時，我們在中國，也能縱覽文藝復興的意大利藝術、17世紀至今的烏拉圭民間工藝精粹和5個世紀以來印度的珠寶藝術成就……

民心相通、文化互鑒，其中的關鍵不只是“走出去”，而是怎樣更好地“走進去”“融進去”，在這一“原點”上，本刊旨在報道諸多歷史人文風貌的物化表達與成果，成為連接不同文明對話與信任的情感紐帶。從民間出發(fā)的藝術交流，溝通開放的世界與繁榮的中國，將在深厚的歷史交往基礎上，在藝術文化的交流互鑒中共創(chuàng)未來，將美好的發(fā)展愿景推向新的時代。

The key to the common people’s understanding and mutual recognition of cultures is not just“going out”, but how to better walk in and integrate. In this origin, the journal aims to report on the materialized expressions and achievements of many historical and cultural features, becoming an emotional link connecting dialogue and trust amongst different civilizations.The art exchanges stemmed from the people, an open world for communication and the prosperous China will build a future based on deep historical exchanges and mutual recognition of arts and cultures, while pushing the beautiful development vision to a new era.
