一、 教材解讀

譯林版初中《英語》教材每冊書有兩個(gè)版塊、八個(gè)單元。本課例選自七年級(jí)上冊第二模塊Different lifestyles中的Unit 5。該單元的卡通漫畫版塊通過兩只電子狗的對話把學(xué)生帶進(jìn)本單元的話題 Lets celebrate，并讓學(xué)生明確本單元的主要學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。導(dǎo)入版塊通過圖片和對話幫助學(xué)生溫習(xí)已掌握的關(guān)于節(jié)日的詞匯以及喜歡節(jié)日的理由，激發(fā)學(xué)生對單元話題的興趣。

二、 目標(biāo)預(yù)設(shè)

基于對教學(xué)內(nèi)容和學(xué)生情況的分析，預(yù)設(shè)以下教學(xué)目標(biāo)：

1. 學(xué)習(xí)中外著名的節(jié)日。

2. 初步了解這些節(jié)日的慶祝方式。

3. 談?wù)撟钕矚g的節(jié)日。

三、 重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)

在教學(xué)目標(biāo)的預(yù)設(shè)下，本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)是通過學(xué)習(xí)了解中外著名的節(jié)日及其慶祝方式。難點(diǎn)是除了要求學(xué)生理解字面意思外，還要求學(xué)生說出文字背后的含義，能夠輕松地表達(dá)出自己喜歡節(jié)日的原因。

四、 設(shè)計(jì)理念

本節(jié)課是根據(jù)新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)突出學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的主體地位原則，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主、合作、探究精神、突出語言運(yùn)用能力培養(yǎng)的理念而設(shè)計(jì)?！队⒄Z課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》是以學(xué)生“能做某事”的描述方式來設(shè)定各級(jí)目標(biāo)要求的。這就決定了我們在教學(xué)中要盡量采用“任務(wù)型”的教學(xué)途徑。在這一教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)中，根據(jù)單元和課堂教學(xué)內(nèi)容和目標(biāo)，給學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì)一個(gè)階段、一個(gè)單元和每一課的學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)、目標(biāo)，并鎖定任務(wù)，吸引和組織學(xué)生積極參與，通過思考、調(diào)查、討論、交流和合作等方式，學(xué)習(xí)和使用英語，完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。

五、 設(shè)計(jì)思路

1. 課堂教學(xué)活動(dòng)。

在理清了本節(jié)課的教學(xué)目標(biāo)和教學(xué)主線后，筆者主要設(shè)計(jì)了以下幾個(gè)教學(xué)活動(dòng)：

2. 教材內(nèi)容的調(diào)整。

教材是教師進(jìn)行課堂教學(xué)，組織教學(xué)活動(dòng)的重要依據(jù)。但與教材配套的教學(xué)活動(dòng)不可能適合所有的學(xué)生。本節(jié)課的教學(xué)首先體現(xiàn)在對生詞的處理上，本節(jié)課的詞匯表上顯示有十四個(gè)，但是大多數(shù)學(xué)生都已經(jīng)在小學(xué)學(xué)過，在授課生成中如果學(xué)生確實(shí)有學(xué)習(xí)障礙，再由教師教授。其次在教材內(nèi)容的處理上，為了配合本節(jié)課教學(xué)難點(diǎn)的掌握，授課教師把Comic strip調(diào)整到最后一部分，同時(shí)也是為了調(diào)節(jié)課堂氣氛，并且有了更進(jìn)一步的課堂生成。

六、 教學(xué)過程

Step 1 Lead-in

1. Present the pictures and ask： Do you know these days？ What are they？

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】 教師通過幻燈片向?qū)W生呈現(xiàn)圖片，并向?qū)W生提問。初步了解節(jié)日并復(fù)習(xí)節(jié)日的單詞。

2. Say more festivals.

T： Yes， they are festivals. Can you tell me more？

（Mid-autumn Festival， New Years Day， Thanksgiving Day， Christmas...）

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】 進(jìn)一步了解節(jié)日，引入這個(gè)單元的話題。

Step 2 Presentation （Welcome to the unit）

1. Present some pictures on PPT and teach them the names of the festivals.

2. Finish Part A on page 57.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】 通過書本上六個(gè)節(jié)日的學(xué)習(xí)，使單詞的掌握得到保證，也加深了學(xué)生對節(jié)日的理解。

3. Ask： How do people celebrate festivals？

（Do some interesting things and eat some delicious food or special food.）

4. Ask the students to compare Chinese festivals and the western festivals.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】 通過兩個(gè)問題的設(shè)計(jì)，讓學(xué)生不僅知道有這些節(jié)日，而且還能更多地掌握這些節(jié)日的背景，在同學(xué)交流中了解這些節(jié)日的慶祝方式，從而更好地解決這節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)目標(biāo)。

Step 3 Practice

1. Ask the students to listen to the dialogue on page 57 and answer the questions.

（1） What is Tommys favourite festival？

（2） Why does he like it？

（3） What does he usually do on that day？

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】 通過幾個(gè)簡單的問題，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生捕捉信息的能力。同時(shí)，問題的設(shè)計(jì)也緊扣本單元的話題。

2. Ask the students to read the dialogue on page 57.

3. Work in pairs.

4. Make a similar dialogue.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】 通過齊讀和分角色朗讀熟悉對話。然后讓同桌之間互相練習(xí)對話，使學(xué)生不僅從語音上掌握這部分教材的設(shè)計(jì)，也能通過對話更好地掌握本節(jié)課的難點(diǎn)。教師需注重課堂生成及語言輸入之后的輸出。

Step 4 Comic strip

1. Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

T： Eddie and Hobo are celebrating a festival. Please listen and answer my questions.

（1） What festival do they celebrate？ （Halloween.）

（2） What is Hobo dressing up as？ （He is dressing up as a ghost.）

（3） What will he dress up as then？ （He will dress up as Monkey King.）

2. Read the dialogue after the tape.

3. Read and try to act it out.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】 聽說的設(shè)計(jì)和訓(xùn)練，不僅激發(fā)了學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)本單元的興趣，也使學(xué)生體驗(yàn)到學(xué)英語的樂趣。在對話復(fù)現(xiàn)中，讓學(xué)生盡情地感受英語口語的美妙。

Step 5 Consolidation

1. Complete the sentences.

（1） People in the USA eat the turkeys（火雞）meat at________________.

（2） At__________， we can get red packets from our parents.

（3） Jim likes________________ because he likes eating moon cakes.

（4） At ___________， they can open their Christmas presents.

（5） Sandy likes _____________ because she likes eating rice dumplings.

2. Translate some useful expressions.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】 通過習(xí)題的設(shè)計(jì)，檢測學(xué)生對本節(jié)課重點(diǎn)短語和詞組的掌握。同時(shí)，也反饋了學(xué)生知識(shí)點(diǎn)的掌握情況，為下節(jié)課的設(shè)計(jì)提供參照。

Step 6 Homework

1. To master the words， phrases and sentences.

2. To recite the dialogue in part B.

3. To preview the words of Reading.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】 家庭作業(yè)的設(shè)計(jì)重點(diǎn)是讓學(xué)生在知識(shí)輸入的同時(shí)，能夠更好地輸出，并且為下節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí)提供準(zhǔn)備。
