One night a burglar broke into a house and was overjoyed at the sight of a laptop sitting on the coffee table ready for the taking.

As he drew near the laptop the door of a bathroom opened suddenly and he dashed behind the curtain and held his breath,sitting as still as a statue.

A man came out of the bathroom and sat in front of the computer busying himself with work. His head drooped slightly as he was wholly absorbed in what flickered in front of him on the computer screen. The burglar looked around and thought that the man was so enthralled with his game that he would never notice there was another man in the room. Thus our intrepid antihero relaxed and waited for the man to go to bed so that he could find the opportune moment to make his heist.

But he sat there waiting for two hours enduring a painful cramp in his leg, yet the man seemingly had no intention of going to bed. To make matters worse, the man seemed to be stuck, forever doomed to repeat hitting the keyboard and swearing at the computer, “Damn it, if I can’t get through this level I’m not going to sleep!”

The game the man played was actually not difficult at all, and the thief was himself an expert at it. Eventually he could not take any more of the man’s klutzy stupidity. The minute the man took a bathroom break, the thief scrambled to the computer, and with the skillful press of a button or two he navigated the character past the level boss.

When the man got back from his pit stop, he was overjoyed to see that the problem was solved,and he thought that he had passed the level himself. He could not fight back a long deep yawn and he muttered to himself as he walked towards the bedroom,“Well, I finally passed the game,time for bed.”

The thief was ecstatic, and he crouched in wait for the chance to abscond with the laptop that was sure to come in no time.Unexpectedly, the man opened the door of bedroom and shouted to his wife who was lounging on the bed, “Hay babe, it is your turn to play the game.”

一天晚上，一個(gè)小偷翻進(jìn)一戶(hù)人家，看到茶幾上有臺(tái)打開(kāi)的筆記本電腦，不禁心下大喜。

當(dāng)小偷正想靠近電腦時(shí)，衛(wèi)生間的門(mén)忽然開(kāi)了，小偷趕忙躲到落地窗簾后面，屏住呼吸，一動(dòng)也不敢動(dòng)。

一個(gè)男人從衛(wèi)生間出來(lái)，往電腦前一坐，便低頭忙碌起來(lái)。小偷觀察了一下情況，原來(lái)，那男人正全神貫注地玩游戲，哪會(huì)留意家里進(jìn)賊了呢？于是，小偷松懈下來(lái)，心想等那男人去睡了，再偷也不遲。

誰(shuí)知，小偷這一等就足足等了兩個(gè)小時(shí)。他站得腿都快抽筋了，男人還沒(méi)有去睡覺(jué)的意思。更可怕的是，這個(gè)男人似乎遇到了難關(guān)，一邊手忙腳亂地敲著鍵盤(pán)，一邊還罵罵咧咧：“今晚要過(guò)不了這一關(guān)，還就不睡了?！?/p>

事實(shí)上，男人玩的游戲并不難，小偷也會(huì)，而且還是高手。看著男人笨拙的操作手勢(shì)，小偷實(shí)在是忍無(wú)可忍，當(dāng)男人再次走進(jìn)廁所的時(shí)候，小偷迅速跑到電腦前，沒(méi)費(fèi)吹灰之力就搞定了那一關(guān)。

男人回來(lái)，見(jiàn)久攻不下的那一關(guān)竟然過(guò)了，不禁喜出望外，糊里糊涂地還以為是自己的功勞呢。他忍不住打了個(gè)哈欠，自言自語(yǔ)道：“這關(guān)總算過(guò)了，我也該去睡覺(jué)啦?！?/p>

小偷心里樂(lè)壞了。不料，男人一推開(kāi)臥室的門(mén)就嚷了起來(lái)：“老婆，快起來(lái)，下半夜輪到你玩啦?！?/p>
