Message for “The World & Chongqing”

The Celebrations of the Chinese New Year are always incredibly festive and legendary. The Chinese people celebrate the dawn of New Year with great hope， promise， and jubilation. The Year 2018 holds special significance for China. It is arriving after the recently-held 19th National Congress of the CPC that laid out a phenomenal vision for the progress and development of China in years ahead.

Pakistan is in the process of strengthening and expanding its ties with Chongqing in 2018. In recent years Chongqing has emerged as one the major economic hubs of China. Many companies from Chongqing are visiting Pakistan to explore business opportunities. Pakistani businessmen are also exploring JVs opportunities with companies in Chongqing. The OBOR and CPEC will further diversify our ties.

I wish all the best to the people of Chongqing for the New Year and hope it will bring greater joy and happiness to them.

中國(guó)的新春佳節(jié)總是充滿喜慶和傳奇色彩，人們滿懷希望，歡呼著、憧憬著新年第一天的到來(lái)。2018年對(duì)中國(guó)來(lái)說(shuō)很特殊，是意義重大的一年。這一年緊隨著最近召開(kāi)的中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨第十九次全國(guó)代表大會(huì)，為中國(guó)未來(lái)數(shù)年的進(jìn)步與發(fā)展規(guī)劃了一個(gè)宏偉的藍(lán)圖。

2018年，巴基斯坦也正著手鞏固和拓展與重慶的聯(lián)系。近年來(lái)重慶已成為中國(guó)主要的經(jīng)濟(jì)中心之一，許多重慶企業(yè)也去到巴基斯坦訪問(wèn)考察，尋求商機(jī)。巴基斯坦的商人們也來(lái)訪重慶尋求合資機(jī)會(huì)。“一帶一路”倡議與中巴經(jīng)濟(jì)走廊將會(huì)進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)展巴基斯坦和重慶之間的合作。
