山城，如同血脈僨張的青年，繁華在向新高度節(jié)節(jié)攀升，城市不斷刷新的高度，交通也向高空發(fā)展……

在攝影師周濟的鏡頭中，高架、大橋、地鐵等一條條“水陸空”脈絡讓城市交通網絡逐漸四通八達，也在潛移默化之中刷新了人們對高度和距離的概念。

如今的城市在奮力生長、在日新月異的變化中，高樓下那片吊腳樓也不忘給我們留下一點傳統(tǒng)文化的基因。

1979年高考前，母親那始終溫情的目光，給了周勇前行的信心；40年前，李正權每天要坐一個多小時的船，才能到江對面的望江廠上班；32年前，第一次接待海外游客時，導游袁世云準備了三個多月；24年前，浙江人顧志康第一次站在菜園壩，看到的是滿眼的機會；渝中區(qū)筷子街的秦長生，追逐著“跑片員”，與電影相伴度過了青春期；“90后”女孩鐘敏和劉嬌，出生在改革開放取得豐碩成果的年代，他們的生活有著前輩所未曾擁有的更多選擇，他們的未來充滿無限可能……

時代大潮滾滾向前，每一個人都像是其中一朵小小的浪花，匯聚、奔騰， 折射著時代的波瀾壯闊。

Before the national entrance examination of 1979, mom’s gentle eyes instilled confidence in Zhou Yong, helping him move forward; Forty years ago, Li Zhengquan spent an hour on a boat everyday before getting to work in a factory across Wangjiang;Thirty-two years ago, it took the tour guide Yuan Shiyun three months to prepare before serving overseas tourists; Twentyfour years ago, when Gu Zhikang from Zhejiang province stood in front of the Caiyuanba for the first time, he saw opportunities everywhere; Qin Changshen, a man from Kuaizi street of Yuzhong district, spent his adolescence chasing after a man who delivered copies of film to movie theaters in attempt to follow latest films. Zhong Ming and Liu Jiao, girls who were born in the 1990s when China yielded fruitful results from the reform and opening up policy, are embracing unlimited possibilities as they now have access to more options that were never offered to their previous generations.

As the time goes by, everyone is like an epitome of the magnificent progress of great times.
