The iPad is taking a lesson from the iPod and beginning to seize1 a place in US schools. Some of them start to test the efficacy2 of kids using the iPads. Even while New York City orders thousands of iPads for its schools.

NY Times tells us that “The New York City public schools have ordered more than 2，000 iPads， for $1.3 million; 300 went to Kingsbridge International High School in the Bronx. 23 teachers and half of the students can use them at the same time.”

This shows a trend3 across the US education sector. It is trying to find a way to go paperless4. Roslyn High School on Long Island handed out 47 iPads on December 20 to students and teachers in two classes. The eventual5 aim is to provide iPads to 1，100 of its students.

這反映了美國教育部門出現(xiàn)了一種趨勢，他們試圖找到一種途徑來實(shí)現(xiàn)無紙化。長島羅斯林高中于12月20日給兩個(gè)班級(jí)的學(xué)生和老師發(fā)了47臺(tái)iPad。最終目標(biāo)是給1100名學(xué)生提供iPad。
