He Yongsheng is one of the gifted painters following the traditions of the Changan Painting School and Loess Painting School. Born in the loess plateau in Northwest China, he is deeply influenced by local cultures, and his works also depict the landscapes in this region in turn.

何永生的山水畫創(chuàng)作,多以西北黃土高原為對(duì)象,30多年不曾轉(zhuǎn)移。他是我所見(jiàn)過(guò)的山水畫家中表現(xiàn)黃土高原山川風(fēng)貌最為系統(tǒng)全面的一位。他不是畫那一片土地上的風(fēng)景,而是在表現(xiàn)生活在那里的人們最常見(jiàn)的平凡日常生活。那些在時(shí)間之流中瞬間就明滅的人間煙火,黃土溝梁上時(shí)隱時(shí)現(xiàn)的牧人與羊群,被他的畫筆永久地定格和保留,它們的短暫性與恒常的平凡,經(jīng)由畫家之手具有了價(jià)值的恒久性;他的繪畫,在一直不變的變化中,形成了自身內(nèi)在的指涉,即生成與流變這一現(xiàn)代的精神氣質(zhì)。
——杜愛(ài)民(西安市文聯(lián)主席、著名美術(shù)評(píng)論家) Born in Yichuan county of Shaanxi province in 1962, He Yongsheng has had a military experience for three decades and engaged in art creations for four decades. Mr. He has pursued advanced studies at Xian Academy of Fine Arts and Capital Normal University successively. He now is a member of Chinese Artists Association, professional painter at CPLA Academy of Fine Arts, and art researcher of the Changan Painting School.
His works have been displayed at many national largescale exhibitions, such as the 12th Chinese Military Exhibition of Fine Arts, the 4th Chinese Paintings Exhibitions, the National Fine Arts Exhibition for Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Red Armys Long March, and the National Fine Arts Exhibition for Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the Foundation of the CPLA. He has hosted five solo exhibitions in Lanzhou, Gannan and Yanan so far.
何永生(一明軒主人),1962年生,宜川人,祖籍米脂,軍旅三十年,從藝四十載。先后深造于西安美術(shù)學(xué)院、首都師范大學(xué)。中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員,中國(guó)人民解放軍美術(shù)院專業(yè)畫家,中央國(guó)家機(jī)關(guān)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)理事,長(zhǎng)安畫派藝術(shù)研究員,現(xiàn)居北京。
作品《楊家溝——轉(zhuǎn)戰(zhàn)陜北的中南海》入選慶祝建軍85周年全國(guó)美展暨第12屆全軍美展。
《故園秋語(yǔ)》入選第四屆中國(guó)畫展暨五年來(lái)全國(guó)優(yōu)秀中國(guó)畫作品展。
《永遠(yuǎn)的長(zhǎng)征路》入選2014年“中國(guó)夢(mèng)強(qiáng)軍夢(mèng)”軍事題材美術(shù)作品展。

先后在蘭州、甘南、延安、舉辦過(guò)五次個(gè)人畫展。擅畫山水、畫鳥兼人物畫。其藝術(shù)歷程及作品先后載入《中華現(xiàn)代美術(shù)家大辭典》《中國(guó)當(dāng)代畫家大辭典》等大型辭書。出版發(fā)行有《何永生花鳥畫集》《何永生國(guó)畫作品集》《大家氣象——何永生國(guó)畫作品》《中國(guó)美術(shù)家大系——何永生卷》。
