Liu Changxin was born in 1966 in Gaizhou， Liaoning Province， and living in Beijing now. He learnt sketch， watercolor painting， traditional Chinese painting， oil painting， and sculpture from his father， Liu Huiqing， and developed a special favor of horse and figure. Liu Changxin had learnt from many famous painters consecutively. He studied in Mr. Yuan Wus workroom in 2014， and served now as member of China Artists Association， member of Liaoning Artists Association， councilor of Liaoning Claborate-style Painting Association， Deputy President of Yingkou Claboratestyle Painting Association， and Deputy Chairman of Gaizhou Artists Association. His works had been selected for dozens of exhibitions organized by China Artists Association， published on professional art magazines such as Art， and Art Panorama， and won various awards for him.

劉長鑫（筆名：劉長新），1966年出生于遼寧省蓋縣（現(xiàn)蓋州市），祖籍山東招遠(yuǎn)。自幼隨父劉惠卿先生學(xué)習(xí)素描、水彩、國畫、油畫、雕塑，尤酷愛畫馬和人物。先后入室于當(dāng)代著名畫家、中國畫研究院（現(xiàn)中國國家畫院）院長劉勃舒先生，現(xiàn)中國國家畫院國畫院副院長、河山畫會會長、著名畫家李寶林先生，中國畫研究院當(dāng)代著名山水畫家李曉林女士，當(dāng)代著名畫家白國文先生。2014年研修于北京畫院當(dāng)代著名畫家袁武先生工作室。現(xiàn)為中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會會員，遼寧省美術(shù)家協(xié)會會員，遼寧省工筆畫協(xié)會理事，營口市工筆畫協(xié)會副會長，蓋州市美術(shù)家協(xié)會副主席。作品十余次參加中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會舉辦的展覽并獲獎，諸多作品在《美術(shù)》《美術(shù)大觀》等專業(yè)雜志上發(fā)表，現(xiàn)居北京。
