Huang Wei， also known as Qiu Zi， was born in Baoding， Hebei Province in 1969. With a masters degree， Huang currently was living in Beijing. He has been interested in painting since childhood， and began practicing sketch in high school. He was introduced to oil painting since 1980s. Graduated from the Academy of Arts and Design， Tsinghua University and Feng Xiao Senior Seminar， Huang works now as professional painter.

黃瑋，筆名楸梓，1969年生于河北保定，祖籍湖南瀏陽，現(xiàn)居北京，碩士。從小喜愛繪畫，中學時開始進行素描、速寫等繪畫基礎練習，上世紀80年代末開始接觸油畫，求學于中央工藝美院（現(xiàn)清華美院）和肖峰高研班等?，F(xiàn)為職業(yè)畫家。
