“吸睛”的意思是“吸引眼球”“博人眼球”或“吸引注意力”。

“吸睛”或“博人眼球”，常常是通過視覺實現(xiàn)的。英語可以用與eye（眼睛）和gaze（凝視）相關(guān)的動詞詞組to catch the eye、to capture the eye、to grab the eye、to attract the eye、to attract the gaze及相應(yīng)的形容詞詞組eye-catching、eye-capturing、eye-grabbing、eye-attracting、gaze-attracting等表示。例如：

1. 生活中，有很多東西可以吸引眼球，但僅有少許可以抓住人心。In your life， there are many things that will catch your eye but there are only a few things that will catch your heart.
