The moon’s apparent size in the sky is almost the same as that of the sun, since the distance between the sun and the earth is about 400 times the lunar's. This matching of apparent visual size will not continue in the far future because the moon’s distance from the earth is gradually increasing.

月球本身并不發(fā)光，它在夜空異常明亮的原因是它反射太陽光。而且滿月要比上、下弦月亮十多倍。

月球到地球的距離大約相當(dāng)于地球到太陽距離的1/400，所以從地球上看月亮和太陽一樣大。但由于地月之間的距離正在逐漸增大，所以在遙遠(yuǎn)的將來，這種視覺效果也會發(fā)生改變。
