初夏的日子總會讓小伙伴們懷念起艷日里海風的微咸和沙灘銀白的沙子，還有一晃一晃地追逐著螃蟹的海浪。因此，Joey老師又從溫妮女巫系列叢書里挑了一本女巫去沙灘的故事想要分享給大家，讓溫妮帶著大家一起去海邊看一看！

It was a very hot summer.

"I want a swim， Wilbur（威爾伯），" Winnie said， "Lets go to the seaside（海邊）."

Winnie found her beach towel（毛巾）， her beach bag（沙灘包） and her beach umbrella（遮陽傘）.

She jumped onto her broomstick（掃帚），Wilbur jumped onto her shoulder（肩膀）， and they were off（出發(fā)）.

They flew over（飛過） hot towns， hot roads， hot cars，and they came to the sea.

夏日炎炎，溫妮和她的小黑貓都覺得又熱又乏，于是她決定帶著小黑貓去海邊度假。他們收拾好行李，飛躍過熱氣滾滾的車水馬龍，終于來到了海邊。同學們有嗅到海風微咸的味道嗎？我們去看看海邊的風光如何吧！

There were lots of people on the beach（海灘），but Winnie found a place for her towel.

She put up（架起來）her beach umbrella and got ready for her swim.

Winnie splashed（濺水）through the water，and skipped（踩） over the little waves.

She was having a lovely time.

Wilbur sat and watched her.

He couldnt swim. He hated（討厭）getting wet（打濕）.

But the water started creep up（漲起）the sand ，up to Winnies towel.

Wilbur jumped onto Winnies beach umbrella.

Then the sea picked（卷起）Winnie up， turned her over three times，and dumped（甩）her on the sand.

The water washed over（浸濕）Winnies towel，and came half way up Winnies beach bag（連她的沙灘包也遭了殃）.

"Meeeoooww，" cried Wilbur.He didnt want to get wet.

海水悄無聲息地漲潮，漫過了溫妮的沙灘浴巾。大浪更是把溫妮也卷了起來，直翻三個跟斗，將溫妮甩到了沙灘上。這時候小黑貓都被嚇得大喊了起來，它可不會游泳啊……

"Oh， dear，"said Winnie.

She shook some seaweed（海藻）out of her hair.

"Dont worry（不用著急）， Wilbur. Well just move further（遠一點）up the beach."

She picked up her beach bag and her towel.

"Wheres my broomstick？"cried Winnie. She looked everywhere（到處找）.

溫妮到處找都沒有看見飛天掃帚，可急壞她了，聰明的同學們，你們知道溫妮的飛天掃帚去了哪里嗎？

Then she looked out to sea.

There was her broomstick， floating away（浮在水面）.

"Stop！"Winnie shouted（大喊）.But her broomstick didnt stop.

"How will we get home， Wilbur？"cried Winnie.

Then she had an idea.She grabbed（抓起） her beach bag， took out her magic wand（魔法棒）， waved it five times，and shouted，"Abracadabra！"

海浪把她的掃帚卷走了！于是她從沙灘包里拿出了她的魔法棒，連揮了五下，并且念出她專屬的咒語，同學們，你們還記得溫妮的魔法咒語是什么嗎？

The broomstick stopped. Then it started to come back.

Winnie was pleased（高興）.

The other people on the beach were not pleased at all（一點也不開心）.

They were very wet.

Wilbur was not pleased either（也不）.He was very wet， very sandy（沾滿沙子）， and rather squashed（壓扁）.

"Oh， dear，"Winnie said."Wed better go home， Wilbur."

Then Winnie and Wilbur zoomed（陡然升起）up into the sky.

看到飛天掃帚回到身邊，溫妮可高興壞了，但是沙灘上的人和小黑貓可一點都開心不起來，他們都被海水打濕了。溫妮趕緊收拾好東西，帶著小黑貓離開了海邊，這場愉快卻短暫的海邊之旅就到此結束了嗎？

They were soon home again.

It was still hot in Winnies garden（花園）.

Winnie still（仍然） felt hot and tired.

Then she had a wonderful（絕妙的）idea.

She took her magic wand out of her beach bag，shut her eyes， turned around（轉圈） three times，and shouted，"Abracadabra！"

There in her garden was a beautiful（漂亮的）swimming pool（游泳池）.

Winnie dived in.

She swam up and down，and then she floated（漂浮） on her back.

"This is lovely（太棒了）， Wilbur，" she said.

"Its much nicer than（比……要好）the seaside."

Anything is nicer than the seaside， thought Wilbur.

原來，溫妮用魔法把自己的花園變成了一座美麗的游泳池，她時而漂浮在水面，時而潛入水里，覺得自家的游泳池要比海邊強多了，怕水的威爾伯，當然十分贊同，它可不想再去海邊了。
