President Li： It is undisputed that our mothers， who care and love us without condition， are our superheroes. Each of us is the son or daughter of a mother. Today， let us pay these extraordinary women the admiration and respect they deserve.

Zhang Chenyu： I grew up in a big family， surrounded by a lot of women—my mom， my sister， my aunts， my grandmas and my cousins. They all like to share horror stories about my childhood like how I would cry non?stop sometimes with no reason and find new ways to drive my mom crazy. But my mom changed that girl. She taught me how to enjoy life and find happiness， how to stay young and try new things and how to care for others without expectations. My mother is my best life tutor.

Zhang Xiaolei： My mom is incredible. One of the many gifts shes shown me is her boundless confidence. I know that when my mom gets interested in something new， she jumps in with both feet. This has led to so many adventures like covering a 40?kilometre hike， watching the sun rise over Mount Tai and running a karate school. She is my original inspiration. I love you， mom.

Zhang Lifang： Years ago， there was a time in my life when I was sick. Months passed and I started to feel like Id never recover. My mom， however， encouraged me to defeat my enemy because she was going to “make it her mission” to make sure I got better somehow. Her supreme confidence， relentless optimism， and compassion helped me back to a more reasonable outlook. Surely enough， after a few months， I quickly got better. While she never fails to remind me about how right she was when we talk about that time， Im still happy to know I have someone like her in my corner.

Bai Xueqiang： My mom has also always been my biggest supporter. I have been longing to be a writer since childhood. I told myself it was a pipe dream， but she believed I could make it a reality. She constantly pushed me and cheered me on even when I didnt believe in myself. Ive been so lucky to have a mother who is so supportive. The past few years have been so tough. But it is an opportunity allowing me to show her all the hard work， perseverance， and sacrifices she had made were not for nothing. I have no idea how I can ever thank her enough for everything she has done for me， but if youre reading this， thank you. I am so incredibly grateful and lucky to have someone as selfless and supportive as my mother.
