China to launch1 Change-5 lunar probe2 in 2020

China plans to launch the Change-5 probe in 2020 to bring moon samples3 back to Earth. The Long March-5 carrier rocket will be used to send the probe into space. The success of the flight will be the key to Chinas future space studies.

Chinas current lunar program includes three stages： orbiting4， landing， and returning. The first two have been finished， and the next step is to launch the Change-5 probe to collect 2kg of moon samples and bring them back to the earth.

China is also drawing up the plan for the fourth step.
