卡耐基曾經(jīng)說過：“笑是人類的特權?！毙κ侨说谋灸?，也是一種情感的傳遞。在英語中，不同語境、不同含義的“笑”的表達是多種多樣的，你會正確使用嗎？

出聲的笑

【最常用的笑】

laugh 強調出聲的笑，常伴有表情和動作，可用于多種情形下。

例如：He always makes me laugh. 他總是逗我發(fā)笑。

The British don’t laugh at the same jokes as the French.法國人覺得好笑的笑話，英國人不一定會笑。

【大聲的笑】

horselaugh （如馬嘶一般）縱聲大笑;狂笑

belly laugh 開懷大笑;捧腹大笑

chortle ?開懷大笑;哈哈大笑

roar 放聲大笑;哄堂大笑

guffaw 哄笑;狂笑

cachinnate ?狂笑;強烈地、大聲地或痙攣性地笑

cackle ?咯咯地笑，常指刺耳的談笑聲。

【低聲的輕笑】

chuckle 抿嘴笑;輕聲笑，有忍俊不禁的意味。

titter ?尷尬偷笑;嗤嗤地笑，表示一種克制的、難為情的笑。

snigger 暗笑;壞笑;通常是偷偷地笑（手捂著嘴）。

tehee ?嗤嗤地笑;竊笑;小聲地笑

不出聲的笑

【微笑】

smile ?微笑，側重無聲地笑，指通過目光或嘴角上揚來表達喜悅、快樂或者輕視之意。

例如：She smiled a bitter smile. 她苦笑了一下。

The most poor person in the world is the man without smile. 沒有笑容的人是世界上最貧窮的人。

beam 眉開眼笑，指人因心情愉悅而發(fā)出的燦爛的笑，即喜形于色地笑。

grin ?露齒而笑，指人因高興、滿足等而咧開嘴露出牙齒地笑。

【傻笑】

simper 傻笑，常常有得意忘形或沾沾自喜之意。

giggle 咯咯傻笑，常指有些孩子氣的笑。

simper ?癡笑，指傻氣而討人厭的笑。

【嘲笑】

sneer 冷笑;譏笑;表示輕蔑地笑。

smirk 嘲笑，常指懷有敵意地笑。

ridicule 奚落;嘲笑，含有諷刺、挖苦的意味。同義詞有deride和jeer。

mock 指通過模擬別人的某種特性加以嘲笑。

taunt 指帶有惡意的、辱罵式的奚落嘲笑。

fleer 獰笑;譏笑，常指做鬼臉表示輕蔑之意。
