Nice day， isn't it？ 好天氣，不是嗎？

我們中國(guó)人初見外國(guó)朋友時(shí)，常常不知如何開口，如果當(dāng)時(shí)天氣挺好，不妨以此打開話匣子，對(duì)方通常都會(huì)有所回應(yīng)而與你閑聊起來的，這也算是練習(xí)英文會(huì)話的機(jī)會(huì)，不是嗎？

—Nice day， isn't it？ 好天氣，不是嗎？

—It sure is. 當(dāng)然是啊。

—It's a good day for a trip. 真是個(gè)旅游的好天氣。

詢問天氣情況常用如下的問法：

How do you like the weather here？ 你覺得這兒的天氣怎么樣？

What's the weather like today？ 今天天氣怎么樣？

How's the weather in Sydney？ 悉尼的天氣怎么樣？

What was the weather like yesterday？ 昨天天氣怎么樣？

What will the weather be like tomorrow？ 明天天氣會(huì)怎樣？

I hope so. 我希望如此。

在英語中，某些表示想法的動(dòng)詞后可以接替代詞so（用于肯定）和not（用于否定），用以代替前面所提到的內(nèi)容。

—Do you think we'll have good weather？你認(rèn)為我們將有好天氣嗎？

—I hope so. I'm going to the movies. 我希望如此。我要去看電影。

—So do I. I hope the movie is good.我也是。我希望電影會(huì)好看。

類似的結(jié)構(gòu)還有：

I hope not. 我希望不會(huì)。

I think so. 我想會(huì)。

I don't think so. 我想不會(huì)。

I believe so. 我相信會(huì)是如此。

I believe not. 我相信不會(huì)吧。

I'm afraid so. 恐怕可以吧。

I'm afraid not. 恐怕不行。
