The National 1）Anthem of the People's Republic of China （PRC） is titled， "2）Marchof the Volunteers". It was written in 1935， with 3）Iyrics by the noted poet and playwriterTian Han and music by the famous 4）composerNie Er.

This song， 5）originally was the theme songof the film， Sons and Daughters in a Time ofStorm. The film tells the story of those who wentto the front to fight the Japanese 6）invaders inNortheast China in the 1930s. The song honorssoldiers and revolutionaries who fought the Japanese in northeast China in the1930s， and encouraged the Chinese people to 7）resist the Japanese invasion.

Moving and powerful， the March of the Volunteers gave voice to the Chinesepeople's determination to sacrifice themselves for national liberation， and expressedChind s admirable tradition of courage， 8）resolution and unity in fighting foreignaggression. It was for this reason that the Chinese People's Political ConsultativeConference （CPPCC） decided to 9）adopt the song as the 10）provisional nationalanthem of the PRC on Sept 27， 1949.

"March of the Volunteers" was eventually restored as the Chinese nationalanthem in 1978， but with different lyrics.

The National People's Congress （NPC） officially decided to adopt the song inTian Han's original version as the NationalAnthem of the PRC on Dec 4，1982.

In 2004， the Chinese constitution wasofficially 1）amended to include "March ofthe Volunteers" as its official anthem.

中華人民共和國(guó)國(guó)歌是《義勇軍進(jìn)行曲》?！读x勇軍進(jìn)行曲》誕生于1935年，由著名詩(shī)人、劇作家田漢作詞，著名作曲家聶耳作曲。

這首歌最初是電影《風(fēng)云兒女》的主題曲。《風(fēng)云兒女》這部電影講述了20世紀(jì)30年代那些到東北前線抗擊日本侵略者的英雄的故事。這首歌歌頌了20世紀(jì)30年代在中國(guó)東北與日軍作戰(zhàn)的戰(zhàn)士和革命者，鼓勵(lì)中國(guó)人民抵抗日本侵略。

《義勇軍進(jìn)行曲》以其高昂激越、鏗鏘有力的旋律和鼓舞人心的歌詞，表達(dá)了中國(guó)人民對(duì)帝國(guó)主義侵略的強(qiáng)烈憤恨和不怕犧牲的反抗精神，體現(xiàn)了偉大的中華民族在外侮面前勇敢、堅(jiān)強(qiáng)、團(tuán)結(jié)一心共赴國(guó)難的英雄氣概。正因如此，1949年9月27日，中國(guó)人民政治協(xié)商會(huì)議決定將這首歌作為中華人民共和國(guó)的臨時(shí)國(guó)歌。

1978年，《義勇軍進(jìn)行曲》被恢復(fù)為中國(guó)國(guó)歌，但歌詞有所修改。

1982年12月4日，全國(guó)人民代表大會(huì)正式?jīng)Q定恢復(fù)田漢作詞、聶耳作曲的《義勇軍進(jìn)行曲》為中華人民共和國(guó)國(guó)歌。

2004年3月14日，第十屆全國(guó)人大第二次會(huì)議通過了《中華人民共和國(guó)憲法修正案》，正式將《義勇軍進(jìn)行曲》作為國(guó)歌寫入憲法。
