習近平在“領導人氣候峰會”上的講話（摘譯）

近年來，氣候變化、生物多樣性喪失、荒漠化加劇、極端氣候事件頻發(fā)，給人類生存和發(fā)展帶來嚴峻挑戰(zhàn)。 In recent years， climate change， biodiversity loss， worsening desertification and frequent extreme weather events have all posed severe challenges to human survival and development.

面對全球環(huán)境治理前所未有的困難，國際社會要以前所未有的雄心和行動，勇于擔當，勠力同心，共同構建人與自然生命共同體。 We need to act with a sense of responsibility and unity， and work together to foster a community of life for man and Nature.

“萬物各得其和以生，各得其養(yǎng)以成?！薄癆ll things that grow live in harmony and benefit from the nourishment of Nature.”

不尊重自然，違背自然規(guī)律，只會遭到自然報復。自然遭到系統(tǒng)性破壞，人類生存發(fā)展就成了無源之水、無本之木。Systemic spoil of Nature will take away the foundation of human survival and development， and will leave us human beings like a river without a source and a tree without its roots.

綠水青山就是金山銀山。 Green mountains are gold mountains.

保護生態(tài)環(huán)境，不能頭痛醫(yī)頭、腳痛醫(yī)腳。 Protecting the ecosystem requires more than a simplistic， palliative approach.
