As we know, most people have heroesin their hearts. For me, Dr Zhong Nanshanis my hero in my heart. He graduated fromBeijing Medical College. He is one of themost famous doctors in China.
In the winter of 2019, the COVID?19pandemic broke out in China and across the
whole world. Zhong Nanshan not only ledbut also took an active part in the battleagainst it. He worked hard day and nighttreating the patients. With the help of? him, soon the pandemic was under control.
He is a good doctor as well as a greathero in my heart. I think a hero should notonly be brave, but also be ready to help oth?ers.

Paragraph 1:
Something like fear showed in her face. After what seemed a long time, her brotherbowed to the audience. Then a puzzled, struggling look came upon his face, then ahelpless look, and then he stood staring atthe waiting audience like one person in adream.“He’s forgotten it,”she said. After?wards, the unhappy brother was alreadystaggering in shame off the stage. She cameup to her brother sitting there with a facelike a statue’s, laid her flowers on his kneesand slipped her hands into his, whisperingif he knew his“piece”now, and he noddedconfidently.

Surprisingly, she came up to the presi?dent, asking,“Will you let my brother try?again?”For a moment, the president staredat her and then smiled at her, going downand speaking to the young man that hadfailed. The audience all sat still, holdingtheir breath lest the speaker took frightagain. I noticed her eyes swimming withtears were on her brother’s face. When thespeech ended, the audience broke into thun?derous applause. With his face still burningwith emotion, he put his arms around hissister who had helped to save the day.

第一節(jié)
Dear Jim,
I am delighted to hear from you. Its anhonor to know you are enthusiastic aboutChinese history.
When it comes to my favorite figure inChinese history, it must be Li Bai of theTang Dynasty. He was renowned as thegreatest romantic poet. Over 900 poems ofhis survived and were widely read by latergenerations. He expressed his emotions inpoems directly every time he was frustratedby his unsuccessful career, which formedhis unique style of writing. This really en?lightens me.
Are you interested in Li Bai? Pleasetell me and I’ll send you some books.
Yours,
Li Hua
