1.這篇韻文由8個小節(jié)構(gòu)成，其中，第2、4、6、8小節(jié)是完全重復(fù)的，這也符合韻文文字內(nèi)容反復(fù)吟詠的特點。第2、4、6、8小節(jié)中四句話的韻腳采用的是“AABB”，即“/s//s//z//z/”。第1、3、5、7小節(jié)中四句話的韻腳采用的也是“AABB”。第1小節(jié)中四句話的韻腳是“/s//s//i：//i：/”，第3小節(jié)中四句話的韻腳是“/?：l//?：l//i?//i?/”，第5小節(jié)中四句話的韻腳是“/i：k//i：k//?u//?u/”，第7小節(jié)中四句話的韻腳是“/z//z//u：//u：/”?？紤]到這一韻腳的特征，文章在譯成漢語時，仍然保持了英文原作“AABB”的韻腳風(fēng)格。

2.這篇韻文的漢譯基本采取的是直譯的方法。但是，為了行文中的韻腳保持原作“AABB”的特征，翻譯時也做了一些技術(shù)性處理。例如：通常，人們會把“Whats this？”直接譯為“這是什么？”，而這里均譯作“這是啥？”；第5小節(jié)的最后一句“With excitement， our knowledge will flow！”中的flow一詞只是表示“流淌；流動”的意思，但是為了韻腳保持一致，這里譯作“綿綿悠長”，雖然文字做了處理，可是基本意思還是尊重了英文原作。
