Yes. You can chew（咀嚼） on a fresh piece of sugarcane（甘蔗） and enjoy the sweet taste.
Maple syrup（楓糖漿） comes from the sap（汁，液） of maple trees（楓樹）. After boiling（煮） the sap， it thickens（變厚） and is quite sweet.
Look at the kinds of sugar below and try to remember their names. Then try the listening challenge！
