1. be fed up to the back teeth

extremely irritated and fed up with something or someone

例如：Im fed up to the back teeth with my job.

2. turn ones back on sb.

從字面上解釋，意思是“把自己的背對(duì)著某人”。實(shí)際上這是指“不理會(huì)

某人，或不肯給那個(gè)有困難的人任何幫助”。

例如：I wont ever forgive my older brother—he turned his back on

me and refused to lend me any money when I lost my job.

例如：I cant make head or tail of it. 我稀里糊涂的，弄不清楚這件事。

6. have ones tongue in ones cheek 半開玩笑；調(diào)侃

例如：I dont think he was serious when he said that. I think he probably had his tongue in his cheek.

我覺(jué)得他不是認(rèn)真的。他可能是在開玩笑。
