“感恩”是一種對(duì)恩惠心存感激的表示，是每一種不忘他人恩情的人縈繞心間的情感。學(xué)會(huì)感恩，是為了擦亮蒙塵的心靈而不致麻木；學(xué)會(huì)感恩，是為了將無(wú)以為報(bào)的點(diǎn)滴付出銘記于心。

Once President Roosevelt’s house was broken into and lots of things were stolen.Hearing this,one of Roosevelt’s friends wrote to him and advised him not to take it to his heart so much.President Roosevelt wrote back,saying,“Dear friend,thank you for your letter to comfort me.I’m all right now.I think I should thank God.This is because of the following three reasons:Firstly,the thief only stole things from me but did not hurt me at all;secondly,the thief has stolen some of my things instead of all my things;thirdly,most luckily for me,it was the man rather than me who became a thief...”

美國(guó)總統(tǒng)羅斯福的家曾經(jīng)失竊，很多東西都被盜了。羅斯福的一個(gè)朋友聞此消息，就寫信去安慰他，勸他不必把這件事放在心上。羅斯?？偨y(tǒng)回信說(shuō)：“親愛(ài)的朋友，謝謝你來(lái)信安慰我，我一切都很好。我想我應(yīng)該感謝上帝，因?yàn)椋旱谝?，我損失的只是財(cái)物，而人卻毫發(fā)未損；第二，我只損失了部分財(cái)物，而非所有財(cái)產(chǎn)；第三，最幸運(yùn)的是，做小偷的是那個(gè)人，而不是我……”

It was quite unlucky for anyone to be stolen from.However,President Roosevelt had such three reasons to be so grateful.This story tells us how we can learn to be grateful in our life.

對(duì)任何人來(lái)說(shuō)，家中失竊絕非幸事。但是，羅斯福總統(tǒng)卻能找到三個(gè)感恩的理由。這個(gè)故事告訴我們：生活中，我們應(yīng)該學(xué)會(huì)感恩。

Being grateful is an importantphilosophy(哲學(xué))of life and a greatwisdom(智慧).It is impossible for anyone to be lucky and successful all the time so long as he lives in the world.We should learn how to face failure or misfortune(不幸)bravely(勇敢地)andgenerously(慷慨地)and to try to deal with it.

感恩是一項(xiàng)重要的處世哲學(xué)，是生活的大智慧。人生在世，不可能事事順利。對(duì)于各種失敗和不幸，我們要豁達(dá)大度，勇敢地面對(duì)，并想辦法解決。

William Thackeray,a famous British writer,said,“Life is a mirror.When you smile in front of it,it will also smile and so will it when you cry to it.”If you are grateful to life,it will bring you shining sunlight.If you alwayscomplain（抱怨）about everything,you may own nothing in the end.When we are successful,we can surely have many reasons for being grateful,but we have only one excuse to showungratefulness(忘恩負(fù)義)if we fail.

英國(guó)著名作家威廉·薩克雷說(shuō)過(guò)：“生活是一面鏡子。你對(duì)它笑，它也會(huì)對(duì)你笑；你對(duì)它哭，它也會(huì)對(duì)你哭?！比绻銓?duì)生活感恩，你的生命將充滿燦爛的陽(yáng)光；如果你一味抱怨，終將一無(wú)所獲。我們成功時(shí)，有千萬(wàn)個(gè)理由感恩生活；而失敗時(shí)，只要一個(gè)借口就會(huì)表現(xiàn)出忘恩負(fù)義。

I think we should even be grateful to life whenever we are unsuccessful or unlucky.Only by doing this can we find our weakness andshortcomings(不足)when we fail.We can also getrelief(安慰)and warmth when we are unlucky.This can help us find our courage toovercome(克服)the difficulties we may face,and receive greatimpetus(動(dòng)力)to move on.We should treat ourfrustration（挫折）and failure in our life in the other way just as President Roosevelt did.We should be grateful all the time and keep having a healthy attitude to our life forever,and keep having perfectcharacters(人 格 )andenterprising(不斷進(jìn)取的)spirit.Being grateful is not only a kind of comfort.It is a way to sing for our life which comes just from our love and hope.

我想，不論是遭遇失敗還是不幸，我們都應(yīng)該感謝生活。只有這樣，失敗后，我們才能發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的缺點(diǎn)和不足；不幸時(shí)，我們還

能感受到安慰和溫暖。這些就能幫我們找回勇氣，戰(zhàn)勝困難，并獲取前進(jìn)的強(qiáng)大推動(dòng)力。我們應(yīng)像羅斯?？偨y(tǒng)那樣，換一個(gè)角度去看待生活中的挫折和失敗，永遠(yuǎn)對(duì)生活充滿感恩，才能時(shí)刻保持健康的心態(tài)，積極地生活，并能保持完美的人格和不斷進(jìn)取的精神。感恩不僅僅是一種精神慰藉，感恩源于我們對(duì)生活的熱愛(ài)和希望，它是我們歌頌生活的一種方式。

When we put a small piece ofalum(明礬)intomuddy(渾濁的)water,we can see the alum can soon make the water clear.If each of us has an attitude of being grateful,we’ll be able to get rid ofimpulse(浮躁),upset,dissatisfaction(不滿)and misfortune.Being grateful can bring us a better and more beautiful life.

把一小塊明礬放入渾濁的水中，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)，水很快就澄清了。如果人人都有一顆感恩的心，就能沉淀許多的浮躁和不安，消融許多的不滿和不幸。感恩能讓我們的生活變得更加美好。
