On May 16， 2013， David Beckham announced that he was to retire at the end of the season. In his 20？鄄year career， David Beckham made 115 appearances for England. And he said becoming the captain of England was the proudest achievement for him. After announcing retirement， Beckham started a new adventure—he went to China as a special ambassador for Chinese football. On June 22， he showed up in Hangzhou watching local team Hangzhou Greentown play against Beijing Guoan.
