當(dāng)今社會(huì)已進(jìn)入了一個(gè)科學(xué)技術(shù)突飛猛進(jìn)的時(shí)代，醫(yī)學(xué)外科當(dāng)然也不例外，新理念、新方法、新技術(shù)不斷涌現(xiàn)。眾所周知，一切科技成果都要轉(zhuǎn)化為生產(chǎn)力才能造福社會(huì)，新方法、新技術(shù)必須及時(shí)準(zhǔn)確地傳達(dá)到應(yīng)用者和被應(yīng)用人?！锻饪蒲芯颗c新技術(shù)》旨在建立這樣一個(gè)快速、準(zhǔn)確、及時(shí)交流、傳播新知識(shí)、新技術(shù)的平臺(tái)。

At first，all of the editorial members express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone of our respective readers and friends.Owing to your support and kindness，the quarterly，《CHINA MEDICAL ABSTRACTS(surgery)》，established in 1992，has been surviving successfully up to now.Its mission has been completed along with the progress of the time and the development of science.Now approved by the State News and Press Bureau，the journal has changed its names as《SURGICAL RESEARCH AND NEW TECHNIQUE》in Chinese edition with English column.See the details attached in“Notice”and“Announcement”.

The world has entered into a rapid developing era，new theories，new methods，new techniques are constantly ermerging.So are those in the field of surgery.As everyone knows，only by passing the achievements of science and technology on the hands of users can they benefit the society.Our newly named journal aims to set such a platform on which the up－to－date information of surgery can be introduced and exchanged rapidly and timely.Our dear reader friends(authors)，your support and kindness remains very important to us，your subscriptions，contributions and suggestions are welcome.Let us go forword hand in hand to establish the new platform of surgery.
