Altmetrics對圖書館服務(wù)的影響研究

〔摘要〕文章介紹了Altmetrics的起源、特征、典型應(yīng)用平臺，重點(diǎn)闡述了Altmetrics為圖書館在館藏建設(shè)、讀者個性化信息、管理決策方面帶來的機(jī)遇，提出了圖書館在Altmetrics時代通過技術(shù)環(huán)境、資源建設(shè)、情報服務(wù)、用戶體驗4個方面提升服務(wù)的策略，最后對Altmetrics的未來應(yīng)用做出展望。

Web2.0工具為研究者提供了更加便捷的、非正式的學(xué)科社區(qū)交流方式，近年來，有越來越多的科研工作者使用諸如twitter、facebook、citeulike、mendeley等社交網(wǎng)絡(luò)進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)交流。開放資源出版物的多樣性特征，導(dǎo)致補(bǔ)充性科研成果測度指標(biāo)的多樣性[1]。對基于網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源的現(xiàn)有和潛在科學(xué)影響力進(jìn)行即時評估的研究，稱之為Altmetrics，即替代性指標(biāo)，或補(bǔ)充性指標(biāo)。Altmetrics作為信息計量方式，被認(rèn)為是對傳統(tǒng)文獻(xiàn)計量學(xué)的重要補(bǔ)充。最近幾年Altmertrics的快速發(fā)展獲得了廣泛的關(guān)注，圖書館應(yīng)清晰地認(rèn)識到用戶對文獻(xiàn)資源的利用和傳播方式的變化。SCOPUS在2004年為高校圖書館提供了一筆基金，方便圖書館員為研究人員提供論文級別計量的指標(biāo)信息[2]，同時，一些數(shù)據(jù)庫（如VIVO）也開始嘗試建立內(nèi)部的基于學(xué)術(shù)網(wǎng)絡(luò)格式的影響力指標(biāo)[3]。這些發(fā)展使得圖書館更加走近基于社交網(wǎng)絡(luò)的評價指標(biāo)[4]。作為未來學(xué)術(shù)評價的新趨勢，將有越來越多的科研人員利用Altmertrics作為衡量學(xué)術(shù)水平的重要補(bǔ)充。Altmertrics為圖書館在新的信息環(huán)境下利用開放的資源為用戶提供更精準(zhǔn)的服務(wù)提供了機(jī)遇。本文探討了Altmertrics的特征和應(yīng)用，闡述了圖書館在Altmertrics環(huán)境下創(chuàng)新服務(wù)的策略，以期為提升圖書館服務(wù)提供一些參考。

5結(jié)語

Altmertrics是Web2.0環(huán)境下的新型計量方式，是對計量學(xué)的重要補(bǔ)充。隨著該領(lǐng)域的不斷成熟，將來會有越來越多的數(shù)據(jù)庫商和出版商會將Altmertrics指標(biāo)整合于搜索結(jié)果中?？梢灶A(yù)見，Altmertrics在未來的發(fā)展過程中，將更具開放性；Altmertrics評價指標(biāo)模型會更趨于科學(xué)性和綜合性；學(xué)術(shù)研究人員也將比以往獲得更多的機(jī)會。圖書館需要順應(yīng)新技術(shù)的發(fā)展，在Altmertrics不斷健全評價方法的過程中抓住機(jī)遇，增加服務(wù)內(nèi)容，提升服務(wù)質(zhì)量，并推動Altmertrics應(yīng)用于更廣泛的領(lǐng)域中。
