Therefore, naked truth should be somewhat covered. The blazing①blazing 英 ['ble?z??] 美 ['blez??] adj. 燃燒的;強烈的;閃耀的sunlight, which ruthlessly beats down on everything in the world, do not leave shadows that allow one to be mystified②mystified adj. 困惑的, to dream and to hope. Without light clouds and thin hazes③haze 英 [he?z] 美 [hez] n. 篩分;篩選the sunshine and creating a colorful glow, how boring the sky would be!
Only in dimness⑤dimness ['d?mn?s] n. 微暗;不清楚;混沌and obscurity⑥obscurity 英 [?b'skj??r?t?] 美 [?b'skj?r?ti] n. 朦朧;陰暗;晦澀;身份低微;不分明can one dream and give play to the imagination. Distance increases mystery. We are lost in a boundless remoteness, calling to mind mountains and rivers obscured in mist and clouds, stars on a dark night, the future in our hopes, a transcendental⑦transcendental 英 [,tr?nsen'dent(?)l; ,trɑ?n-] 美 ['tr?ns?n'd?ntl] adj. 先驗的;卓越的,[數(shù)] 超越的;超自然的ideal, celebrities worshipped from afar, and a "friend" in one's wishful thinking. Similarly, the barrier of a window curtain obscures and mystifies, inducing endless speculation⑧speculation 英 [,spekj?'le??n] 美 [,sp?kju'le??n] n. Whereas if you burst through the barrier and invade the area behind the curtain, I am afraid the naked truth in there may not be an uplifting sight.
