The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmentaldestruction.Bird flu and SARS are two typicalexamples that environmental destruction may threaten our life.Besides，forest destruction，water and air pollution result in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather.

Serious as the problem seems，we can come up with some measures to deal with it.Firstofall，theauthoritiesshould adoptthe policyof“sustainable development”，and laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforced strictly just as our government has been doing.

What’s more，every citizen should realize the seriousness of the problem and make concerted efforts to protect our environment.In addition，planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment.If we take good care of our earth today，it will be more beautiful tomorrow.

我們所居住的世界因為環(huán)境污染而變得越來越讓人難以忍受。禽流感和非典型肺炎已經(jīng)成為由環(huán)境污染引起的威脅我們生命的兩種典型病例。除此之外，森林破壞、水污染、大氣污染導(dǎo)致植被數(shù)量減少，空氣污染嚴(yán)重。

由此可見問題的嚴(yán)重性，我們嘗試了很多方法來解決這些問題。首先，政府應(yīng)該頒布“可持續(xù)發(fā)展”政策，關(guān)于環(huán)境保護(hù)的政策應(yīng)該發(fā)揮作用，按照我們政府所做的嚴(yán)格執(zhí)行。

更重要的是，每一個公民應(yīng)該意識到問題的嚴(yán)重性，同心協(xié)力來保護(hù)我們的環(huán)境。除此之外，植樹可以幫助提高和美化自然環(huán)境。如果我們今天好好愛護(hù)我們的地球，明天就會更美好。
