生活書店

生活書店的前身是創(chuàng)辦于1925年10月的《生活》周刊社，1932年，在鄒韜奮主編的《生活》周刊社基礎(chǔ)上成立了“生活出版合作社”，對外稱生活書店，其口號是“努力為社會服務(wù)，竭誠謀讀者福利”。1938年8月，生活書店于武漢遷到重慶，總部始設(shè)冉家巷，后遷至學(xué)田灣民生路73號，該店在鄒韜奮的主持之下，成為當(dāng)時中國進(jìn)步出版事業(yè)的一面旗幟，先后出版了《全民抗戰(zhàn)》、《文藝陣地》等新期刊，并出版了更多的中外文學(xué)名著以及宣傳先進(jìn)思想文化和鼓勵抗日救亡的通俗政治書籍。在當(dāng)年，生活書店可謂是重慶文化街上的知名地標(biāo)。如今，在兩江國際影城復(fù)建的生活書店門頭上，游客仍然能夠看到“愿竭誠為讀者出版、代辦、推薦良好的讀物”的辦店宗旨。

Based on the Life Weekly edited by Zou Taofen, Life Bookstore is established in 1932 with the aim of “striving to serve the people and benefit the readers”, and moved to Chongqing after the Anti-Japanese War broke out in 1938, and published such new periodicals as Nationwide War of Resistance against Japan, Front of Art and Literature, and many books of literary classics and political books against Japanese invasion. Now it is re-established here in Chongqing.
