Traditional Chinese paintings are mainly divided into three types, bird-and-flower painting, landscape painting, and figure painting. Different from the other two, bird-and-flower painting depicts a variety of objects, including almost all creatures in nature except for human beings such as flowers, birds, insects, fish, vegetables, fruit, beasts, etc. It reflects the relationship and emotions between the painter and objects in and beyond the painting.
