贊美老師的詩歌舉不勝舉,在這些詩歌中人們常用不同的意象來象征老師的形象。本首小詩另辟蹊徑,用北極星這一人們常見的事物來象征老師,象征老師給學(xué)生帶來的光明。詩歌樸實(shí)無華、通俗易懂、感情真摯。詩歌共分成四節(jié),各節(jié)均采用AABB式的押韻方式,讀起來朗朗上口。詩歌將老師比喻成“rock in my wall”,并在詩歌的結(jié)尾句“Northern Star,you are my life”使用了暗喻的修辭,既強(qiáng)化了主題,又使得情感的表達(dá)更加熱情。全詩交替使用第一人稱和第二人稱,讓讀者感覺到似乎作者正在與自己的老師進(jìn)行著親切的對(duì)話,這使得作者對(duì)老師的謳歌更加熱情而飽滿。
