一、設(shè)計(jì)理念

本節(jié)課是一個(gè)完整的閱讀板塊，采用讀前、讀中、讀后的設(shè)計(jì)思路。在閱讀的過程中滲透對(duì)學(xué)生閱讀策略的指導(dǎo)；讀后用思維導(dǎo)圖的形式力求使學(xué)生更好地運(yùn)用及理解教材，培養(yǎng)他們的總結(jié)和分析能力。

二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

1.知識(shí)目標(biāo)：學(xué)生通過閱讀了解卡通片在美國文化中的地位，特別是米老鼠的誕生和成名過程，以及人們喜歡他的原因。并且能通過合作學(xué)習(xí)在閱讀過程和活動(dòng)環(huán)節(jié)中進(jìn)行語言和觀點(diǎn)輸出。

2.技能目標(biāo)： 通過閱讀文章，正確掌握幾種閱讀策略的使用方法，并能在上下文語境中體會(huì)語言表達(dá)的真實(shí)含義。通過思維導(dǎo)圖復(fù)述課文，儲(chǔ)備語言為下一步的寫作埋下伏筆，打好基礎(chǔ)。以便能夠運(yùn)用正確的語言寫好影評(píng)。

3.情感態(tài)度： 通過閱讀Mickey的誕生、成名的過程和受歡迎的原因，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生像Mickey一樣，在面對(duì)困難時(shí)不言放棄，盡自己最大努力去戰(zhàn)勝困難和危險(xiǎn)。

4.文化意識(shí)：通過了解米老鼠在美國文化中的象征意義，挖掘電視節(jié)目背后蘊(yùn)含的文化意義，再通過對(duì)比不同國家的文化，形成一定的跨文化意識(shí)。

三、教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)

1.教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：單詞、短語的學(xué)習(xí)。在閱讀過程和活動(dòng)環(huán)節(jié)中進(jìn)行語言和觀點(diǎn)輸出。

2.教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：掌握幾種閱讀策略的使用方法，并能在上下文語境中體會(huì)語言表達(dá)的真實(shí)含義。

3.教具：多媒體設(shè)備。

四、教學(xué)過程

Step I. Warming-up & Leading-in

The teacher show four cartoon pictures on PPT and ask the students some questions about them.

通過詢問學(xué)生簡單的問題，導(dǎo)入新課。

Q1： There are four pictures， do you know what kind of TV shows they are？

Q2： Do you like to watch cartoons？

Q3： Whats your favorite cartoon？

Q4： Why do you like it？

T： Watching cartoons is a relaxing time for everyone.

Today， lets talk about cartoons， we will go on learning Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show？ Section B （2a-2e）.

T： Before the new lesson， lets play a guessing game. He is black. He has a round head with two large round ears. He is very famous. He is the main character of Disney. Who is he？

S： Mickey. （Teacher introduce Walt Disney.）

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】由句子描述猜測人物的游戲，激起了學(xué)生繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)的欲望，同時(shí)在游戲中穿插下面閱讀文章中會(huì)學(xué)到的關(guān)于米奇的一些基本信息，為學(xué)生提供了學(xué)習(xí)文章的背景知識(shí)，讓他們在后面的閱讀中有成就感，對(duì)理解文章思想有很大幫助。

Step III. While-reading

1. Skimming

T：We have known the main idea of the article， then skim for the main idea of each paragraph. Please finish Task 1.

Task1. Skim for general information.

Para 1 A. Its about the history of Mickey Mouse.

Para 2 B. Its about the achievement （成就） of Mickey.

Para 3 C. Its about the reason why Mickey is so popular.

Answers： para 1 is A， para 2 is C， para 3 is B.

2. Scanning

T： Read 2b quickly and finish the time line.

Explanation： come out， in the 1930s.

Explain Hollywood Walk of Fame on PPT.

T： Hollywood Walk of Fame is a street with a lot of stars. Each star represents a great achievement or success of a film. Mickey is the first cartoon character to have a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】閱讀教學(xué)要從整體入手。整體感知文章主題是閱讀教學(xué)的首要任務(wù).通過讓學(xué)生在文章中尋找所需關(guān)鍵信息（時(shí)間信息），并結(jié)合略讀策略，使其能夠在閱讀中把握信息呈現(xiàn)的時(shí)間線索，使文章讀起來更顯條理，展示好萊塢星光大道的圖片也能讓學(xué)生更容易理解其意思。

2. Do you think Walt Disney is a smart man？ Why or why not？ Do you want to be like him？

3. Why did people want to be like Mickey？ Do you want to be like Mickey？ Why or why not？

4. Can you think of another cartoon character that is as famous as Mickey？ Why is the character popular？

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】這四個(gè)問題都是開放型問題，不同的學(xué)生可能會(huì)有不同的觀點(diǎn)和看法，活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)采用小組合作的模式，可以提高其學(xué)習(xí)參與度，同時(shí)也可以集思廣益。讓學(xué)生發(fā)表個(gè)人觀點(diǎn)不僅是小組成果的展示，同時(shí)也是對(duì)學(xué)生表達(dá)的鍛煉。
