      教材分析: 本模塊的話題是學(xué)生比較感興趣的話題生日。第一單元是邀請朋友參加自己的生日聚會,內(nèi)容涉及中國孩子和外國孩子如何過生日,能讓學(xué)生了解國外的生日文化,比較中西方生日文化的不同,并借此培養(yǎng)和提高學(xué)生的跨文化交際意識。

      學(xué)情分析: 這單元的教學(xué)對象是七年級的學(xué)生,他們學(xué)習(xí)英語的熱情和積極性較高,他們能在教師的指導(dǎo)下,主動參與活動,合作探究.本節(jié)課的內(nèi)容是學(xué)生非常熟悉,且與他們的實際生活密切相關(guān),他們比較感興趣。因此在教學(xué)中設(shè)計了大量活動,讓他們有更多的機(jī)會來說英語。

      教學(xué)目標(biāo):

      1.To learn some key words and expressions about birthday.

      2.To understand the description of birthday and how to invite others.

      3.To learn more differences between Chinese and western culture.

      教學(xué)重點:“would you like to...?”發(fā)出邀請。

      教學(xué)難點:頻度副詞的使用及在句中的位置。

      教學(xué)過程:

      Step1:Warming-up:Organize the students to see a video “Today is my birthday”.

      Ask students to say something about the birthday and say more words about birthday.Write new words on the blackboard and learn them together.

      Step2.Listening.

      First,Listen to the tape,finish activity2-number the words. Then check the answers together.

      Second,listen to it again,then answer the question“Whose birthday is coming?” and continue to read the dialogue.

      Step3.Read the dialogue.

      Task1.Read the dialogue in silence and then check the true sentences.Ask students to check the answers in group.If the sentence is false,correct it.

      Task2.Watch the cartoon of the dialogue,try to understand the dialogue again.Then role-play the conversation in group and explain the difficult sentences each other.

      Task3.Group work。

      Task4.Language points.

      1. Would you like to come to my birthday party? 發(fā)出邀請.

      答語:---Yes,I'd love to.

      ---Id love to,but....

      e.g. Would you like something to drink?用來提建議。

      2. 頻度副詞:always/usually /often/sometimes/never

      Show students a table about “My birthday 2014-2018”.There are five parts in my birthday:cake,present,card,party and game. According to the numbers of “apple” to describe my birthday with the frequency adverbs.

      e.g.I ____ have a cake on my birthday.

      I____ play games on my birthday.

      3. Pair work: make a conversation in pairs.

      Say what you always / usually / often /sometimes/never do on your birthday.

      e.g.A: What do you always do on your birthday?

      B: I always eat noodles on my birthday.

      Task5:Exercise: Underline the correct words.

      Task6: Group work:role-play the dialogue in group,act it out.

      Step4.Be grateful

      Show the word“mother”,explain the meaning of every letter.Be grateful to your mother.

      Step5.Homework

      When your mother has a birthday party, what can you do for her?
